Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) and Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) intend to establish a new Capital Construction Framework to support capital projects valued up to £7 million. This framework aims to enhance the Health Boards' ability to manage and deliver their capital programmes, reduce reliance on external public-sector frameworks, develop a regional supply chain and contractor base, reduce procurement timescales, and improve delivery confidence in terms of time, cost, and quality for enhanced patient outcomes in South West Wales.The framework will support digital construction methods and encourage the adoption of modern methods of construction (MMC) where appropriate. Social value, sustainable procurement, and foundational economy principles will be integrated into the framework, with a focus on ethical employment, decarbonisation, SME participation, and alignment with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.This Planned Procurement Notice is issued to alert the market to this upcoming opportunity and stimulate early contractor engagement.A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) will follow, setting out the structure of each Lot and the maximum number of contractors to be appointed. Only the highest-scoring bidders from the PQQ stage will be invited to tender. The scope of the work will be to carry out annual servicing and six-monthly inspections of firefighting equipment throughout Cardiff & Vale University Health Board sites. Due to the complex nature of Healthcare premises it is imperative that firefighting equipment is maintained. This equipment can play a vital part in preventing the spread of fire and therefore reduce the risks to life and/or property.
The purpose of Fire Fighting equipment maintenance is to ensure the equipment will function correctly in the event that it is needed. Any faults with the equipment will be identified and rectified quickly, safely and efficiently via a well-run maintenance contract.

Hywel Dda University Health Board are seeking to commission a single provider to deliver Relational Care Training programmes to all schools across Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire which will include:
Up to three whole‑school staff training days, delivered face‑to‑face and onsite, aligned to school INSET (In‑Service Training) days. Each school will be required to attend one of these training days. The training days will be delivered in a conference‑style format at a venue provided by HDUHB. Each event will accommodate multiple schools and support shared learning, collaboration, and consistent programme messaging across the region.
Individual staff training for key members of staff in each setting face to face onsite.
The programme is a progressive, spaced learning approach grounded in research on schema development and adult learning, ensuring that knowledge is understood, retained, and translated into sustained cultural change across all settings.
Ongoing support and supervision from the provider throughout implementation face to face onsite.
Inclusion of PRUs, Colleges, and wider services, supporting alignment across all Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire education partners.
