NHS West Yorkshire ICB and Partners are seeking an external partner to evaluate the impact of these community mental health transformation strategies. The Authority is looking to commission two rounds of evaluation over 24 months.

The principle aim of the service is to provide a local Consultant-Led Community ENT including Adult Hearing Loss services for the diagnosis, management and treatment of ENT conditions including aural care; providing a fully integrated Adult Hearing Loss service to support adults experiencing difficulties with their hearing and communication who might benefit from hearing assessment and care, including the option of trying hearing aids to reduce these difficulties.

NHS Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression, is a provision that provides access to self-care and early intervention for people with mild to moderate mental health needs. The national expectations of NHS Talking Therapies are mandated, and specified in the NHS Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression, Manual and further developed in a set of ‘Positive Practice Guides’.

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for, and on behalf of, NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) (Leeds Place), who wish to commission Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) within the following practice: • Shakespeare Medical Practice, Leeds. This procurement is in respect of Calder Community Practice located within Todmorden Health Centre, Lower George St, Todmorden, West Yorkshire OL14 5RN. This process will qualify a provider to deliver primary medical care services to the eligible population of NHS West Yorkshire integrated Care Board through Calderdale Cares Partnership as the Contracting Authority.

NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) is inviting interested bidders to apply for the provision of a Community Based Early Emotional and Mental Health Support for Children and Young People. Please note that the service is to be delivered to Leeds patients only and not across West Yorkshire. The service will be for the delivery of mental health support to young people outside of education settings, with a particular focus on young people who are least likely to access support through school or GP referral. The age range for the service will be age 11-17 (inclusive) at the start of their support offer. The offer will be extended up to age 25 for care leavers and young people with disabilities.

West Yorkshire ICB is seeking a provider to deliver the Out of Hours element of the West Yorkshire System Coordination Centre from Wednesday 1 November 2023. This would be between the hours of 8.00-18.00 on weekends and bank holidays. At times of exceptional system pressure the out of hours service will be required to flex the hours of operation to 20.00. It would also include support on an ad hoc basis to the ICB On Call team in managing additional system calls relating to Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response (EPRR) during the same period as required.

NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is seeking to procure a broker/consortium to oversee the governance/quality/resourcing/training the trainers of sub-contractors that the broker/consortium sources for the delivery of the interactive elements of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training. • Tier 1 – 60-minute webinar • Tier 2 – 6-hour face to face classroom training. Following a long campaign led by Oliver McGowan’s mother Paula McGowan OBE, Health Education England, the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and Skills for Care launched The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism e-learning. Oliver’s death shone a light on the need for health and social care staff to have better training and aims to provide the health and care workforce with the right skills and knowledge to provide safe, compassionate, and informed care to autistic people and people with a learning disability. This requirement is set out in the Health and Care Act 2022 for all CQC regulated service providers.
