NHS South West London Integrated Care Board - Community Podiatry Service

NHS South West London Integrated Care Board invited tenders from suitably experienced and capable providers, to provide Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) Services to patients within the borough of Wandsworth. Specifically the service will deliver physiotherapy treatment (all body parts). The service model is likely to involve a digital first element, with a blended offer of virtual, group and face to face patient sessions. The Contract to be offered to the successful Bidder is for a duration of three years, which is intended to run from 1st April 2023 until 31st March 2026 with the possibility of one extension of up to two years. NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract through the Direct Award Process B for the provision of the following planned care services: Orthopaedic Non-Trauma Procedures, Digestive System Endoscopic Procedures, Digestive System Open and Laparoscopic Procedures, Urinary Tract and Male Reproductive System and Female Reproductive System.

This is a notice of non-award of this opportunity in relation to Provision of Special Schools Nursing and Therapy Service on behalf of NHS South West London Integrated Care Board.

The provision of primary medical services for patients resident in or previously registered with a practice in the London Borough of Croydon that have been removed from another practice list due to an incident.

Extended hours from the PCAS Framework The aims of the scheme is to provide 20 additional GP appointments per week per each GP practice in Croydon over winter in 2025/26 over 12 weeks . This equates to approximately 10,800 additional primary care appointments over the winter months. These GP appointments will be available directly to patients via their GP practice and via NHS 111

Extended hours from the PCAS Framework Services Provided: - Additional GP capacity (including covering Saturdays 9.00am - 5.00pm, Sundays 9.00am - 5.00pm and weekdays between 9.00am and 5pm) between 20th December 25 and 18th January 26. - Capacity on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day between the hours of 9.00am-5.00pm. - Direct telephone access available to patients throughout the above periods. - Appointments available to book in advance or on the day. Service should provide urgent/non-urgent appointments and be 111 bookable

Extended hours from the PCAS Framework Provide the extended hours of the GP out of hours 'Hubs' with GP, Paramedic and nurse appointments on weekday evenings and on weekends to support patients to access appropriate urgent care in Sutton. Provide dedicated paediatric clinics within the hubs to support low acuity presentations to be seen in primary care, and support avoided Paediatric ED attendances. To offer additional Hub clinics for both adults and paediatrics on weekends and weekday evenings in addition to the core contracted 'Extended Access' provision provided by SPCNs on behalf of Sutton GP Practices. Reporting on agreed KPIs. Provide support for the evaluation that will be required. Provide operational support to flex the offer in line with demonstrated need. To provide clinical leadership for the project and Board level governance to support the scheme from inception through to delivery and evaluation. To contribute to the ICB-led project management i.e. supporting highlight reports, risk registers, etc.

The South West London Integrated Care Board (SWL ICB) commissioned a Primary Care Integrated Wellbeing and Support Service to be delivered within GP practices in the most deprived areas of Wandsworth. The service provides short-term, patient-focused navigation support for individuals presenting in primary care with non-medical needs, including issues related to housing, debt, loneliness, and social isolation. The aim of the service is to address wider determinants of health, improve access to appropriate community and voluntary sector services, and reduce inappropriate or avoidable GP appointments. The service responds to significant demand within primary care relating to non-clinical need, with approximately 20% of GP appointments associated with non-medical concerns. These issues disproportionately affect individuals experiencing mental ill health and those from marginalised and underserved communities, contributing to health inequalities. The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process conducted in accordance with the Scheme of Reservation and Delegation (SORD). Six suppliers were invited to bid, and the procurement process was managed by NHS London Commercial Hub (NHS LCH) on behalf of SWL ICB. The contract has been awarded for a period of 15 months (comprising an initial 12-month term with an option to extend for up to 3 months at the discretion of the Contracting Authority), with a total contract value of £174,906 (inclusive of VAT).
