The Accreditation Process (AP) is to identify providers who can meet the requirements and deliver the key aims of the service which are that Service Users can choose a provider that most suits their individual needs, to ensure the demands of the population are met, that a safe and effective service is delivered without adversely impacting the ability to deliver local comprehensive services and is described in detail in the Service Specifications.<br/>As a result of this Accreditation process an agreement will be established with the successful Organisation for a period of up to 4 years with the Authority having the option to extend the Contract for up to an additional 2 years unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of the Contract and will be subject to a review period where the specification may be revised.

The successful provider staff was expected to work with the ICB Cardiovascular disease team, the N&W Protect NoW team, and General Practice to improve clinical effectiveness through case finding and management of patients.<br/><br/>NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board sought to launch a large-scale CVD Prevention project using a Population Health Management approach to case finding and intervention. The project will focus on hypertension and lipid management, with patients being identified and subsequently risk-stratified using the ICB software.<br/><br/>The ABCDE program aims to improve the care of patients at risk of Cardiovascular events through case finding and improved management of high-risk individuals. This project is considered a system priority to see our population lead healthier, longer lives, whilst simultaneously reducing pressures on the health system through early detection and management.<br/><br/>The successful provider is was expected to supply and manage Clinical Prescribers who will liaise with the ICB Protect NoW team, General Practice, and patients. A personalised care approach will be used to support pharmacological and social prescribing for our patient cohort.<br/>Prescribers must be able to initiate relevant medicines.<br/>Prescribers must initiate medicines in line with N&W criteria.<br/><br/>Patients will be identified using the ICB’s population health management software (Eclipse). The ICB Protect NoW Team will contact patients via digital (and print, if necessary) mediums to inform them of their relative risks and changes they can make in their lifestyles and diets and to encourage medication adherence where necessary.<br/><br/>Patients identified as eligible for medication will be consented by Protect NoW and subsequently made available to the provider, and the prescribers are to systematically contact this patient cohort and seek to initiate and / or optimise treatment in line with ICB and national guidance.<br/><br/>The provider will be expected to liaise with the relevant Practice where required on necessary ongoing management and monitoring.

This is a notice to inform the market the procurement has been abandoned.<br/><br/>NHS Norfolk & Waveney ICB (NWICB) invited bids for the Provision of a Learning Disability Respite Service for People aged 18+ with a learning disability, who are under the duty of care of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and are registered with a GP within Norfolk & Waveney.<br/><br/>The successful Provider will deliver a five-bed residential respite service with nursing care for adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.<br/><br/>The service will be provided 24 hours per day, seven days a week including days, evenings and weekends, and will be provided over a full 52 weeks per year, as defined and detailed in the Essential Standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Except for closure for staff training (4 days per year) and Christmas closure arrangements to be agreed with the nominated liaison team manager who oversees referrals to the service.

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board have made an urgent direct award of a short-term APMS contract of 12 months for GP Medical Services at The Hollies Surgery. The contract is provided under Urgent Caretaking Arrangements to ensure continuity of care.

This notice is to communicate the intention to award a contract under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Competitive Process’.<br/><br/>NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board invited suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering a Norfolk Autism Adult Assessment with Navigation Service.<br/><br/>The successful Provider will be responsible for the delivery of a safe and appropriate NICE compliant assessment and navigation service with requisite levels of safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity to be fully compatible with the needs of adults suspected of having autism. It shall offer a range of ways to engage with people accessing the service, to ensure that it is autism friendly.<br/>The service will:<br/>• screen for autism providing written validation of difficulties associated with autism along with a reasonable adjustment letter.<br/>• offer a Norfolk Autism Adult Navigation Service (see section 4.3 below) to reduce the drive and need for an adult autism assessment, through offering interventions in a timely manner.<br/>• as required accurately manage and maintain an adult autism assessment waiting list.<br/>• have a clear and transparent adult autism spectrum disorder (ASD) pathway for assessment<br/><br/>The proposed contract will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 1 year. The annual contract value is £481,000 per annum.

NHS Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board intends to award a General Medical Services Contract to First Health (UK) Limited for the provision of primary medical services and other services at St John’s Surgery in Terrington St John and a branch surgery in Terrington St Clement from 1 April 2025 following a robust Competitive Process. <br/><br/>Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 24th December 2024.

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board were inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering Neurodevelopmental assessment services across NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB. The contract is for a period of 4 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 4 years. There are no finances attached to this Framework as providers will invoice the ICB(s) under the current Right to Choose process

During the Covid-19 pandemic a staff support hub was set up in Norfolk & Waveney as part of a national initiative to provide additional mental health support to health & social care staff who were struggling with the impact of Covid. National funding for these hubs ceased in March 2023, with each ICS required to provide health & social care staff a similar level of support to the Covid hubs on an on-going basis.<br/><br/>Following a review of existing service provision, commissioners have identified the need to develop tier 3.5 - 4 enhanced psychological services (EPS) to complement existing tier 1-3 provision. The service is targeted at staff with more complex clinical presentations that typically require a higher degree of face-to-face interventions. The tier 3.5 - 4 enhanced psychological services will primarily support individual staff with their mental health but will also occasionally be offered to their wider teams.<br/><br/>The transitional funding provided by the local ICB expires at the end of the ‘23/’24 financial year, with each ICS organisation required to fund support for its own staff with effect from April ’24. A combination of existing service provision and financial constraints means that the EPS service will only be commissioned by 3 of the 5 local NHS trusts (Norfolk & Norwich, James Paget, and Norfolk Community Health & Care), as well as the ICB. This procurement seeks to establish a common service, with each trust contracting separately with the chosen provider.
