Our current 111 Integrated Urgent Care (111 IUC) service contract is due to expire in March 2026. SEL ICB is working to develop a new model that considers other key transformational deliverables across our sector, including: • Fuller Stocktake Report, • Delivery Plan for Recovering Access to General Practice, • Delivery Plan for Recovering Urgent and Emergency Care, • Single Enhanced Access Services, and • Long Term Plan Further to our first market engagement event in June, we are reaching out to 111 providers and SEL system partners to: • share with you our updated plans for the procurement of a new 111 service for South East London. • receive your feedback on the proposed model, the feasibility of delivering this at a local level, technical requirements and contract terms. The event will be held close to London Bridge Station between 09:30 and 13:00 on the 15.08.2024, to receive further details please register attendance as instructed below. In the borough of Bexley there are 2 standalone Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) services, one is located at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup and is open 24/7 and the other is located at Erith District Hospital (EDH) and is open seven days a week between the hours of 08:00-22:00. They provide walk-in NHS service for patients whose condition is urgent enough that they cannot wait for the next GP appointment but who do not need emergency treatment at the emergency department (ED). It is led and staffed by GP's/Associate Specialists, working alongside Emergency and Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Health Care Assistants and Primary Care Assistant Practitioners. There are facilities to x-ray limbs for suspected fractures Monday - Friday 08:00hrs-22:00hrs (QMS) and 08:00-16:00 (EDH), this service is provided by Darent Valley Hospital (DVH). Our vision in Bexley is to create a simplified integrated urgent and emergency care pathway where patients are confident about where to go for treatment e.g. minor illness/injury, urgent or emergency - right service, right place, right time, as well as promoting self-care and social prescribing. Interoperability between systems is a key requirement for the new service. The service will offer holistic, consistent quality of care, will be financially sustainable and will continually evolve to meet the changing urgent care needs of the local population. The UTC will support and manage the urgent care needs of the local population by working effectively with other urgent and emergency care providers such as NHS 111, primary care, community, mental health, End of Life, social, voluntary and acute care services.

NHS South East London ICB (the Commissioner) is currently preparing for the upcoming procurement (RFQ) of a short-term project for the All-Age Mental Health and Wellbeing and Adults Learning Disabilities Needs Assessment Service, for the London Borough of Bromley. The Commissioner is seeking organisations with proven data analysis and project management expertise to apply to deliver this project. The Needs Assessment will be a single project covering (i) three different population groups and (ii) one cross-cutting population group that will need to be an identified element in the other three areas, as set out below: • Children and young people (0-18) in Bromley with mental health and wellbeing challenges. • Adults (18+) in Bromley with mental health and wellbeing challenges, including older people with dementia. • Adults (18+) with learning disabilities in Bromley. • One key cross-cutting population group • Children, young people and adults with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The aim of the Needs Assessment is to produce a robust analysis of health and care needs across the three population groups in order to provide a recognised evidence-base covering: • an assessment of health and social care needs for the three population groups in Bromley. • an analysis of population health for the three population groups. • an understanding of inequalities, service gaps and challenges in relation to the three population groups. • a "deep dive" into a number of key strategic questions for the three population groups. • a robust evidence base for local strategies and commissioning, notably the Bromley All-Age Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the Bromley Learning Disabilities Strategy. 5. The project deliverables for the Bromley Needs Assessment - All-Age Mental Health and Wellbeing and Adult Learning Disabilities are: • a final written Needs Assessment in printed and electronic form for Bromley All-Age Mental Health and Wellbeing and Adult Learning Disabilities, covering all three population groups, including recommendations on areas for further consideration by commissioners and services, which is accepted by the commissioning lead as meeting the scope and requirements of the project. • a summary presentation of the full Needs Assessment for commissioners. • three tailored summary presentations of the final Needs Assessment for Bromley All-Age Mental Health and Wellbeing and Adult Learning Disabilities covering the three population groups, which the project will present at three key stakeholder boards (one for children and young people's mental health and wellbeing, one for adult mental health and wellbeing and one for adults learning disabilities). • at least a further two in-person and two "online" meetings to present the Needs Assessment. Additional information: An indicative specification is attached for the consideration of interested parties. Summary of the Service The Service provides Bromley GPs with sufficient capacity to deliver all GP led ECGs, 24 Hour ECGs, and 24 Hour BPM. The service allows GPs to request simple ECG, remote monitoring ECG and Blood Pressure Monitoring. This means that no GP requested cardiology diagnostics activity will be performed in the local hospital setting. The service is open to adults and children, registered with a Bromley GP. GPs will be provided, by the cardiology diagnostics provider, with the following equipment, which is replaced as and when required, and with any associated consumables free of charge to general practice, equipment listed as follows; Static simple 12 lead ECG Mobile ECG monitor Mobile Blood Pressure Monitor BPM AF Monitor. The service is provided in practices and practice hubs receiving referrals from practices that do not deliver the service. Hub practices are selected based on a range of criteria including location, patient transport options, parking, physical building access and commitment to deliver extended hours. This contract is due to expire on 31 March 2024 and NHS South East London is seeking expressions of interest from capable suppliers ahead of launching a procurement process to determine the service provider for the services from 1 April 2024. The contract value is expected to be 350,000 GBP per annum and 1,750,000 GBP over 5 years proposed initial contract term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The contract value is inclusive of all costs incurred by the provider to deliver the requirements of the service specification. This service is an established Southwark practice which works closely with practices within Bermondsey Neighbourhood Team and North Southwark Primary Care Network. New Mill Street General Practice currently provides GP services to 5936 People residing in the borough of Southwark. The service will operate under an APMS primary care contract. The service will provide GP services to residents within North Southwark. The indicative contract value is approximately 628,855 GBP per annum The contract will have an initial term of 5 years, followed by an optional extension of 5 years plus 5 years at the discretion of the commissioner. NHS England (London Region) is seeking to procure three community-based services for the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway in the London region, to provide a range of psychological, residential and social support services for people who have committed harmful offences and who are likely to meet the diagnostic criteria for ‘personality disorder.’ The indicative contract value is approximately £5.9 million per annum The contract will have an initial term of 4 years (48 months), followed by an optional extension of 2 years (24 months) at the discretion of the commissioner. If all available extensions are taken up in full the contract will have a maximum duration of 6 years (72 months).
