NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is working on behalf of NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) who are looking to undertake a multi-lot procurement for the provision of Children & Young People Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Services in Lancashire & South Cumbria. The proposed model incorporates four service specifications/lots covering the Lancashire and South Cumbria Places. There will be a maximum of 19 contracts totalling £12,709,583 for the full contract length including the optional extension. Each contract length will be for 11 months and 2 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years. They are looking to undertake a procurement for the provision of a Children & Young People Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Services (Digital Support) in Lancashire & South Cumbria, based on the THRIVE model. The proposed model will cover Lancashire and South Cumbria. There will be a maximum of 1 contract totalling £1,082,222 for the full contract length (1 year plus an optional 1 year extension). The overall annual overall value is £541,111. The £541,111 per annum consists of £340,000 from the ICB, £69,927 from Lancashire County Council, £64,0000 from Blackburn with Darwen Council, £14,056 from Blackpool Council and £53,128 from Westmorland & Furness Council. The provider will need to propose activity levels for each of the funding allocations as part of the tender process. Activity will be reviewed on a monthly basis. The aim is to commission a high quality, evidence-based, effective, equitable and accessible service for patients who have cancer-related and non-cancer related lymphoedema, regardless of aetiology, that ensures improved patient outcomes in relation to clinical needs, quality of life, health and well-being for the populations of Lancaster, Morecambe Bay and South Cumbria. There will be a maximum of 1 contract totalling £2,028,707 for the full length of the contract. The contract will be for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The annual value is £405,741. The Contract Start Date is 16th September 2024. The ICB has set an affordability threshold within the Competitive Process. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is acting as an agent on behalf of NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) who are looking to undertake a Competitive Process for the provision of the Integrated Care Services (IUC) in West Lancashire. The Authority is committed to the provision of a high quality Integrated Urgent Care Service which shall include: • Co-located Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) • Walk in Centre (WIC) • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) services • Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) These services being procured are integrated with the other strands of 24/7 urgent and emergency care which meets the values, rights, obligations and expectations of patients as set out in the NHS Constitution. Integrated Urgent Care Services will be provided to individuals who are, or believe themselves to be, acutely ill with a condition that requires urgent attention, such that their immediate care needs cannot safely be deferred until the next day or to the end of the out of hours period. It is required to be sustainable, based on a service model that is clinically and commercially robust that can attract and retain suitably qualified competent practitioners and integrate with other services. This provision includes the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries at Ormskirk Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and Skelmersdale Walk in Centre (WIC), located within the West Lancashire area. The proposed new contract covers the West Lancashire locality within the Authority's area. The ICB is committed to providing stability to the sector and a model of services is being proposed, which will procure services for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The contract is intended to start on 1st July 2026. The total maximum value of this one contract is £3,814,955 per annum. Therefore, the total maximum value of the five-year contract is £19,074,775. For this procurement, the Authority may seek clarification on bids that are unusually low. Following clarification, it will reserve the right not to consider Bids that are unusually low.
