A selection of Class 111 (3), Class IV (4) or equivalent patient scales are utilised in various hospitals in NHS Lanarkshire for weighing patients. These scales will require test and calibration service
University Hospital Monklands has greatly exceeded its design life which poses many operational and financial challenges. In early 2016 NHS Lanarkshire announced its intention to replace or refurbish the current facilities at University Hospital Monklands with new hospital accommodation of sufficient quality and clinical functionality.
Following option appraisal exercises and extensive public consultation a site at Wester Moffat, Airdrie was confirmed as the preferred location for the new Hospital in January 2021.

Lanarkshire Health Board (more commonly known as NHS Lanarkshire) is seeking expressions of interest from any parties interested in providing primary medical services to patients in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.
This requirement has arisen as a result of the GP partner at Airdrie Community Health Centre, 88 Graham Street, Airdrie ML6 6DB deciding to leave the practice and therefore bringing to an end the GMS Contract with NHS Lanarkshire. There are 1,737 patients. Applicants should be aware that these premises are owned by NHS Lanarkshire and will be available for occupation. NHS Lanarkshire, therefore, wishes to select a new service provider with the capacity and capability to meet the needs of these patients by delivering high quality, patient-centred clinical services in a primary care setting, all in accordance with NHS Lanarkshire’s requirements set out in Appendix 1 (“Requirement”). The services will build on existing best practice, and focus on a community and health and social care approach. The clinical services will be delivered in an environment that provides patient care of a standard consistent with that of similar services provided elsewhere within NHS Lanarkshire.
NHS Lanarkshire Health Board, a statutory body constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 (“the Board”), wishes to procure the replacement of the current Soil Sort/Loading System within the West of Scotland Laundry, in line with the agreed Asset Replacement Programme. The supplier will be fully responsible for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and training of staff on the operation and maintenance of the new equipment. 1.2 NHS Lanarkshire, on behalf of the South Lanarkshire Alcohol & Drug Partnership wish to commission an organisation or organisations who will work alongside South Lanarkshire ADP, as the lead provider(s) in ensuring:
Families are included and informed throughout their loved ones’ treatment and recovery, whilst ensuring the wishes of their loved ones’ are being respected and adhered to. The whole family approach to recovery should become embedded within all treatment and recovery services.
Due to the diverse scope of this service a bid from a consortium would be welcomed.
The commissioned service will also develop innovative responses and work alongside families and wider communities to engage with families who need support as a result of their loved ones’ substance use whether that be past or present.
The commissioned service will need to have a close working relationship with both statutory and voluntary organisations.
The commissioned service will be expected to have a presence within South Lanarkshire’s recovery Beacons.
NHSL require a sole supplier to provide online or face to face neurodevelopmental assessments and specific post diagnostic interventions for those Children and Young People (CYP’s) identified by the Health Board as part of the Health Board’s access, delivery and waiting time reduction plans.
NHS Lanarkshire, on behalf of the North Lanarkshire Alcohol & Drug Partnership wish to commission an organisation to provide unemployed people in addiction treatment/recovery with individual advice and support to find a job, and on-going support once in work.
1.2 NHS Lanarkshire, on behalf of the North Lanarkshire ADP wish to commission a lead organisation who will work alongside North Lanarkshire ADP as the lead provider in making addiction recovery visible and embedded into the North Lanarkshire communities. The successful organisation will work in partnership with North Lanarkshire ADP to embed the values of healing, compassion, welcome & empathy. The lead provider will also be expected to work closely with The Scottish Recovery Consortium to deliver best practice in recovery development and build a robust linkage with national recovery activities and specific work streams designed to deliver the spirit and content of Rights, Respect and Recovery within North Lanarkshire
The service will ensure provision is offered across the 6 localities of North Lanarkshire.
