NHS Grampian requires to enter into a Measured Term Framework Contracts for the provision of Several Works and Single Trade Works in the Grampian area. The area extends from Forres in the Northwest across to Peterhead in the East and down to Laurencekirk in the South.
The framework agreement is for several works, which includes but not limited to Building repairs and maintenance, total overhaul and refurbishments, electrical works, mechanical works, external civils works, road repairs & maintenance roofing works, plumbing works, flooring, painting, and decorative works, building works, joinery works, and small scale jobbing works etc.
All NHS Grampian properties/sites are situated in the Grampian region and for this framework, will be split into three geographical areas, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray. Interested contractors should be able to carry out works/repairs in any of these areas and contractors can indicate their area(s) of preference in the Form of Tender/ITT.
Reagents & consumables and equipment are used for many testing pathways within the laboratory including regional patients for urgent cancer services such as lung, colorectal and haematological malignancies and rare disease disorders such Cystic Fibrosis
The product for replacement under this new contract was for one (1) HDR Brachytherapy After-Loader.
This was tendered as a single lot, including supply and installation on a “turnkey” basis within NHS Grampian located at the Aberdeen Cancer Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as it had reached the end of its recommended life-expectancy and was due for replacement under the Scottish Government’s Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Replacement Programme (CERP).
The equipment being purchased is in addition to existing equipnment in the Dental Hospital and will ensure a seamless end to end digital workflow for Head & Neck cancer patients being treated both by OMFS and Dental Hospital
One linear accelerator was to be replaced, installed at the Aberdeen Cancer Centre (ACC), Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Campus, Aberdeen, as it had reached the end of its recommended life-expectancy and was due for replacement under the Scottish Government’s Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Replacement Programme (CERP).

1x Linear Accelerators (AB3): a Linac that is capable of efficiently delivering Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) treatments
NHS Grampian (the Authority) is inviting tenders for the provision of a service to supply link practitioners to NHS Grampian for Aberdeen city. Contract is for a period of 48 months with possible extensions to maximum of three years (3x12 months (+1+1+1) up to a maximum of seven years.
