NHS Devon has undertaken a procurement for delivery of Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) and Complex Emotional Needs services for Plymouth and surrounding areas
Peripatetic Care workers to extend delivery of additional Pathway 1 capacity identified following Demand and Capacity Modelling and intermediate care Plan. This is to enable Phase 2 Procurement, Commissioning Intentions and Implementation to be completed whilst ensuring the Plymouth system has sufficient capacity to support flow and discharge out of acute and community settings, preventing unnecessary spend on spot purchased on pathway 2 capacity as part of our delivery of the intermediate care plan.
NHS Devon ICB has awarded a contract for various community support services (including support to community hospitals and influenza treatment and prophylaxis). The contract is for an initial 6 month term with a further 6 month optional extension. The contract started on 1st October 2022.
The contract value will be determined by activity carried out under the contract.
Continuing healthcare services (including continuing care for children). This service is to supply assessment support services across CHC and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards service areas. This includes reviews of patients, assessments of patients and support to appeals.
NHS Devon Integrated Care Board (the Commissioner) are establishing a Framework Agreement and appoint suitable providers who have the capability and capacity to deliver the following services:
LOT 1 - Live-in Care at Home for All-Ages
LOT 2 - Complex Care for All-Ages
LOT 3 - Trusted Assessors for Spot Therapy and Clinical Psychology Provision (SEND)
The geography covered is that of NHS Devon ICB.
4) The duration of the framework agreement is for a period of 4 years commencing on 12th January 2026.

This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
The service will deliver core primary medical services (Essential and Additional) to patients who have been removed from general practice due to exhibiting violent or aggressive behaviour and are registered with the Special Allocation Service. Patients eligible for this service will reside within the County of Devon.
The Assisted Conception Service will provide:
• Specialist Fertility Services to patients fulfilling the
eligibility criteria, including:
• A full In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) cycle*,
• A full Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) cycle*
• Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) stimulated and
unstimulated depending on circumstances
• The storage of gametes (oocytes and sperm) including
those harvested prior to treatment for cancer or other
treatments which may make a patient permanently infertile
• The storage of embryos
• Use of donor gametes such as egg or sperm where
appropriate. Donor oocyte (egg) treatment will be subject
to different waiting time criteria due to the recognised
shortage of donors
• Diagnostic Semen Analysis Service
* A full IVF / ICSI treatment cycle includes:
• Appropriate diagnostic tests, scans and pharmacological
therapy
• Counselling for couples
• Stimulation of prospective mother's ovaries to produce
oocytes
• Harvesting of the oocytes
• Fertilisation using IVF or ICSI (assisted hatching is not
provided)
• A fresh embryo transfer (maximum 2 embryos transferred)
• Cryopreservation of all suitable remaining embryos in line
with commissioning polices
• If unsuccessful, within twelve months of cryopreservation,
a frozen embryo transfer from remaining frozen embryos
(maximum of 2 embryos transferred)
• A follow up consultation / pregnancy scan with fertility
services post IVF treatment
NHS Devon was seeking extended provision of outplacement support for all ICB staff, including a range of relevant workshops, coaching sessions, financial advice and resource centre.
Contract to be in place from 7/12/2025 to 1/8/2026 with extension option to 31/3/2027.
Payment based on delivered sessions up to a maximum contract value of £35,883 including VTA
SBS Framework award to Optum Health Solutions Ltd to procure a Computerised System Support for the Delivery of Cost Effective, Safe and Effective Prescribing for Devon.
The contract is for a 24-month term with an additional 12-months. The total value for the life of the contract (3 years) is £1,057,732.45 including VAT.

NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group is awarding a contract for the provision of Adults - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment and Treatment - Waiting List Initiative services for Devon.
The contract value is for a 6+6-month term. The maximum total value for the 12-month period is £250,000 based on the delivery of the requirements.
