Non Emergency Patient Transport Services - Regulation 14 Urgent Contract Award
Following the unforeseeable insolvency of its supplier of planned outpatient Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services, NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB ("BNSSG ICB") have made an urgent contract award in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) 2023 Regulations for the provision of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) to University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW).
The awarded contract is for 18-months to ensure the continuity of essential services whilst BNSSG ICB carries out a further procurement process in accordance with PSR Regulations to secure a long-term provider.

NHS BNSSG - Palliative and End of Life Care (PEoLC)
BNSSG ICB is awarding the named providers contracts to deliver palliative and end of life care (PEoLC) across BNSSG until 31/03/2027.
These services are essential to support patients who are at the end of life, to enable them to attain the highest possible quality of life in accordance with their end of life care preferences.
Awarding the named providers will result in continuity of care for patients and their families, whilst the ICB undertakes a review of PEoLC service provision, to ensure we are commissioning the best services for our population.

Procurement for the Provision of an Urgent and Emergency Care Live Dashboard and CTCC Strategic Partner to BNSSG ICB
NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) CCG has been reviewing its capability for online tools supporting our daily Urgent and Emergency Care system management and escalation, or our OPEL framework. This is a contract for a system which can take and display relevant live or near real time data feeds from our UEC partners (including and not limited to acute, community, ambulance, 111, AWP, social care, voluntary).
In addition, BNSSG are seeking to work in strategic partnership with the chosen supplier to deliver a platform that provides real-time visualisations of activity, patient flow, harm and the impact of initiatives within BNSSG to facilitate evidence- based decision making. This will optimise resource, remove barriers and improve patient outcomes for our population.
The contract will be for two years, with two optional one year extensions.
