The service is for adults (18+ years) with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating or eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS)), which is moderate to severe and may be acute or chronic. The service offers a range of therapeutic and evidence-based treatments to help service users with their eating disorders with support around psychological treatment, dietary advice and occupational therapy. In addition, the service provides consultation and liaison for adults with a diagnosis of the above, and a duty service during operational hours.

The service places Youth Workers in wards and clinics at the 3 Acute hospitals, playing a crucial role in supporting Children and Young People aged 11-25 years with Long Term Conditions and displaying low -medium level mental health issues. The Youth Workers provide a holistic, compassionate and trauma informed approach, having the time to begin to forge trusting relationships with the CYP that clinical staff may not be able to due to capacity, experience and perceived barriers of uniformed services. Direct Award C has been used for the award of this contract. The existing provider is satisfying the original contract and will likely satisfy the proposed new contract. Provision of the Special Allocations Service (SAS) by Kingswood Medical Group includes • Provision of medical services for patients who have been removed from their GP practice and allocated to the SAS scheme • Provide support for rehabilitation of Registered patients in order to address underlying causes of violent or aggressive behaviour and encourage and support facilitation of return to general practice • Provide a multi-disciplinary holistic service that provides safe, secure and appropriate access to SAS registered patients within Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. • Contactable by telephone during Core Hours Monday to Friday 08:0-18:30 (excluding bank holidays) • Provide vaccinations and immunisations, contraceptive services, maternity medical services (excluding intra-partum care), cervical screening services and minor surgery for registered SAS patients.

This notice relates to the permitted modification of existing contracts under the Provider Selection Regime (2023), to enable additional access to Mandatory Dental Services (MDS) within NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB on a recurrent basis, in response to recent contract terminations and in accordance with the NHS 2023/24 priorities and operational planning guidance requirement to "Recover dental activity, improving units of dental activity (UDAs) towards pre-pandemic levels". The Commissioner considers that the modifications are permitted by Regulation 13(1)(c) of the Provider Selection Regime (2023), where the modification has been made in response to external factors beyond the control of the authority and the provider, and that the modifications do not render the contracts materially different in character. The scope of the contract has not been extended as the services provided remain materially the same. This notice has been published in line with Regulation 13(4)(c) and Schedule 12 of the Provider Selection Regime (2023). Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB entered into a rapid commissioning process to secure additional Mandatory Dental Services activity. This process sought NHS dental providers to deliver increased activity in the form of additional, recurrent Units of Dental Activity (UDAs) as a variation to their existing contract for Mandatory Dental services, in one or more geographic priority areas. Priority areas were identified based on additional activity requirements. The priority area identified in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB was Mid and North Wiltshire. A transparent, fair and proportionate process was carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.

NHS Bath and North East Somerset Integrated Care Board ("BSW") is commissioning a vocational model to Wiltshire called Individual Placement Support (IPS) which enables more people from disadvantaged groups to engage in work and make a positive contribution to the local economy whilst also reducing their dependency on statutory services and welfare benefits. BSW is directly awarding a contract to the existing provider Richmond Fellowship in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The value of the contract is £369,367 for the one year contract term. The one year contract will commence on 1st April 2024. This service will be subject to a competitive process commencing in 2024 with a service operational and in place from 01st April 2025.

NHS Bath and North East Somerset Integrated Care Board ("BSW") is commissioning a Hospice provision for children and young people including medically supported short respite breaks, symptom management, stepped discharge from hospital, emergency and end-of-life care. BSW is directly awarding a contract to the existing provider Naomi House and Jacks Place (Wessex Children's Hospice Trust) in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider NHS Bath and North East Somerset Integrated Care Board ("BSW") is commissioning a Hospice provision for children and young people including medically supported short respite breaks, symptom management, stepped discharge from hospital, emergency and end-of-life care. NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board sought to secure a Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver Individual Placement and Support in line with the specified requirements. The service will provide intensive, individual support aiming to help people with a Severe Mental illness (SMI) to gain and retain paid competitive employment with the implementation of the evidenced based IPS employment approach. The service will be for people aged 18+ with an SMI open to secondary mental health care and also Primary Care. The geography covered is Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. The contract will be for an initial 3 year term with 2 optional extensions of any period of up to 1 year per extension with service commencement on the 1st April 2026. The contract value is £1,186,995 per annum giving a total value of £3,560,985 over the initial 3 year term, £4,747,980 if the first extension is adopted, and £5,934,975 if all extensions are adopted. This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
