UKNNL is exploring the potential requirement for up to three endoscope systems which may include one ATEX-rated device and 2 standard (non-Atex-rated) devices. The service required is : Provision of Health Physics Services located at United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory, Preston Laboratory, Springfields site, Salwick. Preston, Lancashire PR4 0XJ The Contractor shall provide a monitoring service to UKNNL Preston for: 1a) Barrier monitoring (clearances). 1b) RACCS (Real-time Active Contamination and clearance systems) monitoring. 1c) Monitoring and sentencing of waste. To facilitate the above service, the Contractor will provide a dedicated full-time monitor between the hours of 09.00 and 15.30 (with a 45-minute break), Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) and with reasonable endeavours an additional monitor between the hours of 09.00 and 15.30 one day per week (excluding Public Holidays). The required day for the additional monitor is to be agreed between the Customer and the Contractor. 2) Provide an environmental monitoring service to UKNNL Preston for: a) Air sampling. b) Stack sampling. c) Bubbler changes and d) Sampling equipment filter changes. To facilitate the above service the Contractor will supply an additional monitor who will complete the work, as required, on a day rate, schedule to be agreed between the Customer and Contractor.

United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory is seeking to establish a Fabrication and Machining framework, structured as a multi-lot arrangement to support both nuclear and non-nuclear requirements.

HALEU Deconversion Capability Research and Development Support from 2025-2030. It is anticipated this contract is for the engineering support to design and build the HALEU Deconversion Capability. UKNNL reserves the right to amend and change this contract, including reserving the right to remove all or part of the build element.

The UKNNL is looking to establish an open framework for software solutions and hardware in support of technical and scientific computing applications. This is a pre-market engagement exercise. It is anticipated UKNNL requires a single supplier to supply state of-the-art Wireless Instrumentation and control systems. This contract will include supplying sensors and actuators with wireless capability, technical solutions for retrofitting existing instrumentation, supply of components to create a wireless mesh network using robust and reliable wireless communication protocol.

As part of potential upcoming work NNL requires a dedicated car service for course delivery team & ad hoc delegate transport duties. The supplier transports the course delivery team from home location to the various nuclear licenced sites around the country that the course programme takes place at. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information about technology that is able to identify both caesium phosphomolybdate (CPM) and zirconium molybdate (ZM) through the curved glass of the dust scrubber on the Vitrification Test Rig (VTR) in situ, in order to measure build-up on the inside of the dust scrubber. This PIN is to inform the supply chain that Sellafield Ltd are seeking emerging technologies and approaches to identify the presence and composition of any sub-surface structures, to better inform modelling and problem-solving processes as the site is decommissioned. In-ground structure data may also have a bearing on future works. Interested technology providers should complete and submit a Game Changers application via the Game Changers website (www.gamechangers.technology). The challenge is open to any organisation who feel they can meet the technical requirements. The closing date for applications will be the 19th April 2024. Interested organisations should note that the issue of this PIN may not result in a full procurement exercise being conducted. The outcome of the Game Changers challenge will determine whether a full procurement exercise will follow.
