Milton Keynes College and Activate Learning are education providers and partners developing the South-Central Institute of Technology working with the Department of Education. It is a multi-site development with sites located at Oxford and Milton Keynes.
Oxford College has allocated a dedicated building V Block that will provide the South Central IoT learners the ability to undertake their studies. It will provide high- quality learning environments designed to welcome and inclusive for all those attending.
Bletchley SCIoT is a refurbished building and extension to the existing IoT Building and will provide high- quality learning environments designed to welcome and inclusive for all those attending.
Oxford Blackbird Leys Technology Campus V Block development is due to go live Sept 22.
Bletchley SCIoT development is two phases, first phase will be completed Sept 22 and second phase End - April 23.
This tender is specific to Oxford and Bletchley only and requires the
contractor to supply, build and install the furniture within the designated spaces.

SCIoT Bletchley Campus Located in Milton Keynes at Milton Keynes College Bletchley Campus. As part of the development the project requires the installation of IT equipment for the newly refurbed building which has 4 floors. This tender requires the contractor to procure, deliver and install theIT equipment to the SCIOT Bletchley Campus.
The work to install the IT and Gaming equipment will be a two phases approach, Installation of Gaming equipment needs to start at 08:00 am on Monday 8th Aug 22 and be complete by 19th August 2022. Installation of IT equipment will need to be confirmed between the project team and contractor therefore the delivery schedule must be coordinated with the project team to ensure a structured installation program is carried out.
All deliveries / work must be carried out sensitively and with extreme care as Bletchley College campus is active, there will be staff on site. There is good access to the site at Bletchley Campus there is also the use of a goods service lift to the All Floors in the building for contractors.
Milton Keynes College wishes to procure the design and construction of the following works:
The replacement of Air Handling Units and associated ductwork on the roof of the main building at Bletchley Campus, and the replacement of all associated pipework and heat emitters within the building. The project scope includes remedial work to the existing roof, builders work in connection with services, strip out of the existing heating plant, integration of the new heating system with existing air source heat pump plant, new environmental
controls, and commissioning of the completed installation.

A. Refurbishment and expansion of existing facilities comprising the following works:
B. Construction and fit-out of new ground and first floor accommodation within the existing Motor Vehicle Workshop building including new stairs, platform lift, WC accommodation and
associated mechanical and electrical services.
C. Reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing Main Building Motor Vehicle Workshop including new external glazing to replace existing vehicle access door, creation of two new classrooms and an ICT room and associated mechanical and electrical services.
Carbon Offset Funded Scope
New Air Source Heat Pump installation comprising the following works:
A. Construction of a new external plant compound.
B. Construction of a new enclosed plantroom adjoining the south end of the existing Motor Vehicle Workshop building.
C. Installation of new Air Source Heat Pump plant
D. Installation of associated buffer vessels, pumps, ancillary plant, pipework, valves and accessories
E. Provision of electrical services including power, fire alarm and controls.
F. Modifications to the existing gas boiler installation.
Milton Keynes College are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified lead designer, architectural and planning consultant on a retained basis. The period of the appointment will run for three years from 30 June 2024.
A. Design and construction of a new infill second floor within the Chaffron Way Campus Main Building. This will be constructed by the College's nominated supplier, Riteweld Engineering Limited.
B. Fit-out to new Main Building second floor space to provide a new classroom including reconfiguration of adjacent rooms and circulation space.
C. Fit-out to existing Main Building third floor space to provide two new classrooms including reconfiguration of circulation space, modified access stair. and a new platform lift.
D. Reconfiguration of existing Engineering Workshops within the Chaffron Way Campus ITC Building.
E. Reconfiguration of existing Carpentry and Joinery Workshops within the Chaffron Way Campus ITC Building.
Milton Keynes College is seeking a first stage tender for the creation of an Institute of Technology campus at Bletchley Campus. The project comprises the full internal & external refurbishment of The Andrew Peck Building, plus a four-storey extension and external works.
The project is fully funded by the DfE.
The existing Andrew Peck Building (APB) with the addition of an extension will increase the overall GIA of the building to around 3990m2. The new higher education Institute of Technology centre will deliver innovative, employer focussed Digital Technology qualifications as part of the South Central Institute of Technology
