This procurement relates to the Council appointing an operator to undertake the management of three (3) leisure facilities within Milton Keynes including Bletchley Leisure Centre, Woughton Leisure Centre and Windmill Hill Golf course. The total contract award value stated in this notice is the tendered sum for the full possible contract period of 15 years (i.e. the initial contract period of 10 years plus the full potential extension period of 5 years) at the point of signature. This figure comprises the estimated value of the management of the 3 leisure facilities and is indicative only. It is expected this figure will be affected by inflation in accordance with the provisions of the contract. For the purposes of Section 74(1)(a) and paragraph 1 of Schedule 8 of the Procurement Act 2023, Milton Keynes City Council may during the term of the Leisure Operator Contract apply an agency model arrangement to replace the traditional leisure management arrangement. The Council reserves the right to modify the contract terms and conditions to accommodate a move to the agency model arrangement. The Authority is delivering a major low-carbon infrastructure investment in the form of a city scale District Heat Network (DHN), a key component of its commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2030, as outlined in the Authority’s Strategy for 2050 and Council Plan 2024-2026. In the first phase of the DHN, low-carbon heat will be delivered to several public buildings across the city, helping to reduce reliance on gas combustion heating. As part of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS), the Authority has been successful in its application to convert three major public buildings: the city library; Civic building; and Woughton Leisure Centre.

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Milton Keynes City Council are working together to commission Medication Administration services for residents in Milton Keynes, where requiring support to safely administer their medication is an identified need. Medicines support is any support that enables a person to manage their medicines. This covers prompting or reminding people to take their medicines; helping people remove medicines from packaging; and administering some or all of a person's medicines. Referrals for the service will come from CNWL District Nurse team only and could be located anywhere within Milton Keynes. Any prospective Providers will be registered with CQC, with the registered office located in Milton Keynes. The provider will be rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in all domains (safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led) at their most recent inspection. There must be no CQC enforcement notices in place. This procurement is being run via the open procedure under the Light Touch Regime. Milton Keynes City Council invite providers to tender for Springfield House Support Service For Young Parents With Babies And Pregnant Mothers. This is a housing related support service to young people with babies and pregnant women to enable them to move on to more independent living within settled accommodation. The service is a based hostel accommodation with self-contained units. The service will also offer time-limited resettlement support when residents move on. The service will employ support staff with relevant qualifications, expertise, and aptitude to offer personalised support to residents. The service will be delivered at Springfield House, which is the accommodation provided by Orbit Housing Association. The Service provider is expected to enter a lease agreement with Orbit and be responsible for all housing management at the property.

The Council’s Building Control Department is seeking to establish a consultant to undertake the role of:• Checking building regulation applications for compliance with Parts A, H and K of the building regulations and assist the Building Control surveying team on structural and civil engineering matters. • Checking licencing applications for temporary structures and assist the licensing team to ensure public safety.• Site surveys and reports on heritage buildings and structures to assist MKCC in their enforcement role.The Agreement will be entered into for 3 years, with the potential to extend for a further 12 months. The provider will: • Assess what medicines support a person needs as part of their general assessment and record the outcome of the assessment in the care plan. • Where a person needs support with their medicines, the provider will record the following details in their care plan: o the person's needs and preferences o the person's expectations for confidentiality and advance care planning o how you will seek consent o details of who to contact about their medicines - this can be the person needing support or a contact they choose o what support they need for each medicine o how the medicines support will be given o who provides medicines support, particularly when more than one care provider is involved o when the medicines support will be reviewed - e.g. after six weeks. o Staff who assess people's medicines support need to be trained and competent to do so o only take responsibility for people's medicines where the assessment indicates there is a need. Services will usually be delivered in patients own homes, these will be located within all areas of Milton Keynes, including villages.

Milton Keynes City Council (the Council) has awarded a contract for Demand Responsive Transport Services procured via further competition under MKCC Local Bus and Shared Taxi & Demand Responsive Services DPS Lot 2 Shared Taxi and Demand responsive service. The contract is for the operation and the software to run a Demand Responsive Transport service within the parameters laid out by the Council. The service will use a mobile app provided by the successful tenderer as well as web and phone options to interface with the same system for customers. Calls will be booked at the time of travel, not in advance. The successful tenderer will supply all vehicles and drivers. This is a minimum subsidy contract with the successful tenderer retaining fare box income and taking the revenue risk. Service users will be directed to a commercial bus route where viable. The contract is for period of 2 years from 01 Apr 2025-31 Mar 2027 with an option for the Council to extend for 1 year till 31 Mar 2028.
