The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier to provide apprenticeship programmes for; Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant (ST0608), Level 3 Assistant Accountant (ST0002) and Level 4 Professional Accounting or Taxation Technician (ST0003) to train colleagues studying the apprenticeship programmes. The contract will be for a period of four years and one month (49 months) to allow for maximum flexibility for apprentices to start at various points during the contract period.

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier to provide the apprenticeship programme for; Level 6 Youth Worker (ST0522) to train 3 (three) colleagues to become recognised professional Youth Workers.

West Bletchley Community Centre - Impact Damage Remedial Works and window replacement. The works consist of the rebuilding of the projected bay window area of the small hall. This area has been subjected to vehicular impact damage and requires localised rebuilding of the bay window.

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Milton Keynes City Council are working together to commission Medication Administration services for residents in Milton Keynes, where requiring support to safely administer their medication is an identified need. Medicines support is any support that enables a person to manage their medicines. This covers prompting or reminding people to take their medicines; helping people remove medicines from packaging; and administering some or all of a person's medicines. Referrals for the service will come from CNWL District Nurse team only and could be located anywhere within Milton Keynes. Any prospective Providers will be registered with CQC, with the registered office located in Milton Keynes. The provider will be rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in all domains (safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led) at their most recent inspection. There must be no CQC enforcement notices in place. This procurement is being run via the open procedure under the Light Touch Regime. The Council proposes to enter into a contract that will be for an initial term of 3 years with an option for the Council to extend for 2 years with the successful tenderer (Service Provider). The Milton Keynes City Council has been allocated £1.442M OZEV LEVI (Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) Capital funding to expand our network of low power, on-street charging infrastructure. We are fairly advanced in our coverage of EV chargers, so this funding is proposed to fill the gaps in our residential network coverage including economically deprived and rural areas. The LEVI funding will be used to deliver the low power infrastructure in the more challenging economic locations, co-located with fully service provider funded high power residential solutions. With a combination of LEVI funding and private sector funding we are proposing to deliver around 101 charge points per tendered Lot across four geographically split Lots. The procurement has been divided in four lots: Blue lot, Green Lot, Orange Lot and Red Lot. The Council intends to procure a service provider for each lot, to operate, maintain, replace and develop the Councils electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVI) as a Public Private Commercial Partnership in a concession contract under the new Procurement Regulations 2023. It will be a 15 year contract period and will require the supplier to pay Milton Keynes City Council a yearly fee. Open Market Engagement was conducted in August 2023 and September 2024.

The project involves fire safety improvement works to the internal partitions, ceilings and fire doors of the office area within Civic Office building currently being used by the Post Office. The area was previously leased to the National Westminster Bank who vacated in 2023, and the premises was then not in general use between 2023 and 2025.

Milton Keynes City Council (The Council) wish to commission a suitably qualified and experienced Provider of children’s residential care to operate two Ofsted-registered therapeutic children’s homes utilising the Council’s own properties, for Children and Young People aged 9-18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Further information about the Council’s requirement is set out in Specification. This is a block contract to be let for an initial term of 3 years with an option for the Council to extend subject to review for up to 2 years on a year-by-year basis with the successful tenderer. The maximum contract value for the whole term of the contract including extensions will be £17.8 million. This comprises of core contract costs of £1.65 million p/a, based on a standard 1-1 staffing ratio. However, additional staffing up to a 3-1 ratio may be required at times throughout the duration of the contract, in which case a total envelope of up to £3.56 million p/a is permissible.
