Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Milton Keynes City Council are working together to commission Medication Administration services for residents in Milton Keynes, where requiring support to safely administer their medication is an identified need.
Medicines support is any support that enables a person to manage their medicines. This covers prompting or reminding people to take their medicines; helping people remove medicines from packaging; and administering some or all of a person's medicines.
Referrals for the service will come from CNWL District Nurse team only and could be located anywhere within Milton Keynes.
Any prospective Providers will be registered with CQC, with the registered office located in Milton Keynes. The provider will be rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in all domains (safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led) at their most recent inspection. There must be no CQC enforcement notices in place.

The Milton Keynes City Council has been allocated £1.442M OZEV LEVI (Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) Capital funding to expand our network of low power, on-street charging infrastructure. We are fairly advanced in our coverage of EV chargers, so this funding is proposed to fill the gaps in our residential network coverage including economically deprived and rural areas. The LEVI funding will be used to deliver the low power infrastructure in the more challenging economic locations, co-located with fully service provider funded high power residential solutions. With a combination of LEVI funding and private sector funding we are proposing to deliver around 101 charge points per tendered Lot across four geographically split Lots.
The procurement has been divided in four lots: Blue lot, Green Lot, Orange Lot and Red Lot.
The Council intends to procure a service provider for each lot, to operate, maintain, replace and develop the Councils electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVI) as a Public Private Commercial Partnership in a concession contract under the new Procurement Regulations 2023. Milton Keynes City Council (The Council) wish to commission a suitably qualified and experienced Provider of children’s residential care to operate two Ofsted-registered therapeutic children’s homes utilising the Council’s own properties, for Children and Young People aged 9-18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs. This is a block contract to be let for an initial term of 3 years with an option for the Council to extend subject to review for up to 2 years on a year-by-year basis with the successful tenderer.
The maximum contract value for the whole term of the contract including extensions will be £17.8 million. This comprises of core contract costs of £1.65 million p/a, based on a standard 1-1 staffing ratio. However, additional staffing up to a 3-1 ratio may be required at times throughout the duration of the contract, in which case a total envelope of up to £3.56 million p/a is permissible.
