Milton Keynes City Council (the Council) are required to meet all statutory obligations in relation to our Housing stock. The Housing stock asset management function is controlled by the Council's Housing Maintenance and Investment (HMI) team. The Council are currently out to tender for the provision of Fire Door replacements for block properties, including dwelling entrance, internal communal, service cupboard doors, and loft hatches. All sites are within the Milton Keynes postal code region. Any sites which fall outside of this region will be advised in the mobilisation period. The Council proposes to enter into a contract that will be for an initial term of 2 years with an option for the Council to extend for 2 years with the successful tenderer (Service Provider) unless terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. The estimated value for Fire Door Replacement contract is £5.75M (ex. VAT) for the maximum potential contract period of 4 years. The spend under the contract is dependent on the quantities of installations ordered during the term of the Contract. The estimated value is indicative only, and the Council does not guarantee to Tenderers the volume of installations ordered.

Milton Keynes City Council (‘the Council’) wishes to commission a suitably qualified and experienced provider of home security measures to deliver a Sanctuary Scheme for survivors of domestic abuse. The service will seek to enable safety, prevent homelessness, and maintain stable housing through the installation of enhanced security measures (e.g. locks, bolts, chains, fire alarms/lock letter boxes) in the homes of survivors of domestic abuse, where it is deemed safe for them to remain in their homes, to so install such measures, and with consent. This will serve as an alternative to relocating away from family, friends, vital support networks and disruption of support from any professional services. The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier to provide an apprenticeship programme for Level 6 Teacher (ST0490) to train a cohort of apprentices studying the apprenticeship programme.
