Hughenden Parish Council is seeking to award a one-year contract for high-quality hedge and field maintenance of Hughenden Parish Council's 'rural' public open spaces.
The Parish Council owns a number of sites spread across the parish. The contract includes hedge cutting at eight allotment sites and several amenity locations.
There are also two grassland fields that require annual cuts (as meadows); with cuttings baled and removed. There is additional path cutting required on one of the fields.
The Council seeks tenders from an organisation capable of undertaking a 5-year landscape maintenance works contyract for 2026 to 2031 (beginning 01 April 26); with possible options to extend thereafter.
The works generally compromise; - landscape maintenance, weed-killing, hedge cutting, and arboriculture works. The maintenance works are to be completed on land largely owned by Bradwell Parish Council (except planters) in the city of Milton Keynes.
The Invitation to Tender package includes a detailed description of the project, description of technical guidance (with plans/maps), scoring guidance and a response pack.
The closing date for all tender responses is 31 August 2025.
