Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation (MPFT) are looking to procure a clinical service for the provision of an Adult ADHD prescribing for 1 Year period with an option to extend for 1 x 12 month period. The service will work in partnership with clinical teams. The main purpose of the service is to provide continuous ADHD prescribing services for Adult ADHD patients and related enquires raised by services, MPFT staff and pharmacies. All prescribing will follow MPFT formulary and national prescribing guidelines. The service is required to deliver: • Clinical check of the repeat monthly prescribing of ADHD medication in line with MPFT formulary • Apply dose optimisation doses where appropriate • Check monitoring is up to date • Re-authorising the repeat list, amending quantities and duration within MPFT prescribing formulary and repeat prescribing SOP • Conduct 6 monthly reviews and ensures physical health reviews are in place/scheduled in line with NICE guidelines for ADHD prescribing • Conduct 12 monthly CPA reviews in line with MPFT guidelines The ADHD prescribing service will support 325 services users covering a 52 week period. A majority of appointments will be conducted virtually but the provider should be prepared to offer face to face appointments in line with service users requirements. An assessment will be carried out by a MPFT clinical staff member before services users are allocated to the case load of the ADHD prescribing service. All service users will have ADHD medication initiated by MPFT.

The service will work in partnership with clinical teams. The service is required to deliver: • Support people to remain as independent as possible in their own homes • Support people in place of safety • Provide respite for care Short Term Home Support (Mental Health) Service will be an 'on call' type approach service located onsite at MPFT's St Georges Hospital Site, Stafford location. The service will attend service user's home. An assessment will be carried out by a MPFT clinical staff member the Short-Term Home Support (Mental Health) Service will attend to support MPFT staff members, clinical and regulatory care activities will be undertaken by clinical teams with the Short-Term Home Care for up to 2 weeks whilst awaiting allocation to long term care providers. The main aims for the service are for service users to remain safely in their own home environment, or support service users following an Inpatient admission and provide further support and respite to carers and relatives. If there are no call out during the out of hours shift, the staff will provide non-clinical support other mental health teams with social support activities on Inpatient wards such as walks with service user.

Suicide Bereavement Services is to support those bereaved by suicide to face the immediate, acute, disorientating, and painful experience of the first weeks and months after the suicide. The service also aims to support people bereaved or affected by suicide in the longer term, by signposting to, or working in partnership with local agencies and community groups. The Service will conform to the SASP (Support After Suicide Partnership) checklist of what a good Postvention service should looks like : • A single/lead point of contact • Involvement at all stages of those with lived experience for example as volunteers, staff and through consultation in relation to service design and development. • Proactive contact with the bereaved family, within 72 hours of the death. • Non-judgemental emotional and practical support • Support with the Inquest and legal process • Referral to specialist support services where needed • Contact and support for the medium to long term, following the bereaved person's journey and needs • Collaborative relationships and strong networking with a multi-agency network including frontline services, local services and councils, hospitals, GPs, schools, the Police, Coroners, and other organisations along the bereavement pathway. • Focus on evaluation, iteration and learning from the interventions. This will be key to ensuring that the service is effective, person-centred and responsive to service users' needs, whilst also contributing to the evidence-base and informing the development of future provision.
