Mid Ulster District Council wishes to appoint suitably experienced electrical contractors who would be placed on a framework to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, testing and certification and minor works throughout the Council’s estate. The contract period will be for an initial 12 month period, i.e. 1st April ’25 to 31st March ‘26 with the option to extend for 2 separate 12-month periods or part thereof up to a maximum of 36 months, subject to review and performance, i.e. up to March 2028.

A Contract will be let by Mid Ulster District Council and Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. The Council/Councils has/have a statutory obligation to collect and dispose residual and bulky wastes that have arisen from both household kerbside collections and household recycling centres within the district area. The purpose of this Contract is to provide a treatment service for Contract Waste which has historically been sent to landfill. This is to ensure the Council/Councils comply with the legislative requirements of the EU Waste Framework Directive and the EU Landfill Directive, in respect of household recycling targets and reduction in municipal to landfill.

Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Environment and Biodiversity programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This is a dedicated cross community Environment and Biodiversity programme. This programme will bring communities together on the shared theme of the protection of our environment. The programme will support people/ groups to: • Community led transformation through local environmental reimaging improvements and practical interventions. • Build capacity of people/ groups interested in horticulture, environment, climate change and contributing to local environmental improvements. • Have greater understanding of diversity. • Transfer knowledge between groups. • Improve relationships. • Increase volunteering. • A total of 225 people will be engaged over a 3 year period, with a minimum of 20 community and voluntary groups involved. The programme will be delivered through a model of engaging people supporting them to contribute to a more cohesive and prosperous society.

Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Health and Wellbeing programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This programme is a dedicated cross community Health and Wellbeing Programme. It will focus on promoting social inclusion and improving the mental and emotional wellbeing for disadvantaged and marginalised groups by supporting them as follows: • Tackling isolation and loneliness programme focused on developing and supporting men’s and women’s sheds concept across Mid Ulster District Council. • Disability engagement programme targeting people with learning and physical disabilities through existing groups and networks to support in a range of the following (as required): Development skills /Social networking /Civic Engagement • Building resilience for Youth programme- developing and delivering bespoke youth led programme on a cross community basis, focused on resilience of young people and tackling a range of specific issues relevant to them (e.g mental health, healthy relationships, sexuality, drugs, alcohol, health and wellbeing, personal safety etc). Through the programme young people will be supported to engage and participate in leadership development opportunities. • A total of 750 people will be engaged over a 3 year period. The programme will be delivered through a model of engaging people supporting them to contribute to a more cohesive and prosperous society.

Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Culture, Arts and Heritage programme, with primary age children, for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This is a dedicated cross community Culture, Arts and Heritage programme for all Primary Schools in the district focusing on primary 6/7 age group. The programme will support children to: • Build greater awareness and understanding of locally based shared culture, arts and heritage within their local community • Build shared engagement and friendships between diverse schools through an experiential and interactive learning programme focused on locally based culture, arts and heritage • Develop skills in innovation and creative technology in children • A total of 750 children engaged over a 3 year period. This programme is a dedicated cross community Anti-Poverty Programme. It will focus on building capacity and resilience of low income families who are facing possible poverty and disadvantage. The programme will seek to alleviate the impacts of poverty being experienced by low-income families supporting them. Further details are included in the specification.

Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Minority Communities programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This is a dedicated cross community Minority Communities programme for all. The programme will build the capacity and resilience of our minority communities to develop greater integration for all and raise awareness and understanding. The programme will seek to support minority communities through: • Delivery of a diversity campaign across the Mid Ulster District- to create awareness and increase greater respect for diversity across all our communities of Mid Ulster based on the model of sanctuary of being a welcoming and safe place to live. • Delivery of events, activities and training- co designed with minority communities, to build capacity, awareness, knowledge and understanding of different cultures and traditions. • A total of 500 people will be engaged over a 3 year period. The programme will seek to facilitate positive cultural expression and increase levels of mutual understanding, trust and respect. Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Youth Entrepreneurship programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This is a dedicated cross community Youth Entrepreneurship programme for all Post Primary Schools in the district focusing on year 8 age group. The programme will support young people to: • Build the resilience and confidence of young people • Develop resilience in young people via entrepreneur skills – confidence building, selling, leadership, time management etc. • Develop friendships among young people through shared engagement • Advance young peoples knowledge and understanding of leadership qualities • Build shared engagement between diverse schools through development of leadership and building resilience • A total of 450 young people engaged over a 3 year period. The programme will build the young people’s knowledge and understanding of leadership qualities while supporting them to build friendships and contribute to a prosperous and peaceful society.

The Economic Operator shall provide the following Services to deliver the phased development of Railway Park, Dungannon. The overall scheme has been developed up to RIBA stage 2, concept stage. Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Multi Sports Activity programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This programme is a dedicated cross community Multi Sports Activity programme. It will focus on building capacity and resilience of low income families who are facing possible poverty and disadvantage. The programme will seek to alleviate the impacts of poverty being experienced by low-income families supporting them as follows: • Multi Sports Activity Programme delivered on a cross-community basis targeting low-income families and delivered at seasonal times of the year utilising local, shared spaces. • A total of 525 children and young people will be engaged over a 3 year period. The programme will be delivered through a model of engaging people supporting them to contribute to a more cohesive and prosperous society.

The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This programme is a dedicated cross community Healthy Eating, Nutrition and Wellbeing Programme. It will focus on building capacity and resilience of low income families who are facing possible poverty and disadvantage. The programme will seek to alleviate the impacts of poverty being experienced by low-income families supporting them as follows: • Healthy eating, nutrition and wellbeing programme delivered on a cross-community basis and focussed on using low cost, locally grown products to produce healthy and nutritious meals. • A total of 225 people will be engaged over a 3 year period. The programme will be delivered through a model of engaging people supporting them to contribute to a more cohesive and prosperous society.

The commission is for the appointment of an Architect led Integrated Consultancy team (ICT) to prepare, develop and project manage the delivery, design and construction activities associated with the redevelopment of TRAAD Point, Ballyronan, in accordance with RIBA Stages 2-7. The project and general description of the works are listed below. Location TRAAD Point The Point Road Ballyronan BT46 6LR. Located on the Northwestern shores of Lough Neagh about 2km north of Ballyronan. This project is funded under PEACEPLUS.

Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver PEACEPLUS funded Holistic Wraparound Support programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This programme is a dedicated cross community Holistic Wraparound Support Programme. It will focus on building capacity and resilience of low income families who are facing possible poverty and disadvantage. The programme will seek to alleviate the impacts of poverty being experienced by low-income families supporting them as follows: • Development of a holistic wraparound support programme in collaboration with agencies who are working with people experiencing poverty for example local foodbank network, local advice service, social services. The programme will include seasonal (e.g. school holiday periods) programmes to engage and support low income families. • A total of 225 people will be engaged over a 3 year period. The programme will be delivered through a model of engaging people supporting them to contribute to a more cohesive and prosperous society.

Mid Ulster District Council wishes to appoint a suitably experienced and competent contractor to assist in monitoring the legionella risks across the Council's estate. The Council engages in the usual range of Local Government activity, including Leisure Services, Community Services, Parks and Open Spaces, Tourism, Cultural Facilities, Refuse Collection, Street Cleansing, Environment Health, Burial Grounds, Public Conveniences, Administration, Employment, Finance, Economic Development and Building Control amongst others. This requires the provision of approximately 110 buildings/facilities across the Council area, ranging from Public Conveniences to large Leisure and Administrative Centres. The contractor will develop a written scheme to control the risk and will assist in managing the implementation of the assessments. The contractor will also ensure the safe and correct operation of the system implemented, and that a process of checks and monitoring are introduced to ensure the risks are managed. The successful contractor must ensure that the works and components thereof comply with all recommendations, requirements and current editions of the following (as amended): • Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978 • Management of Health and Safety at Work (NI) Regulations 2003 • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (NI) Regulations 2002 • Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 and HSG274
