The installation of a new electricity supply to Woodside Ferry Terminal Landing Stage including the connections to SP Sub-Station and the new Landing Stage
The Fire Alarm, Gas Suppression and Intruder alarms are linked with the Morley Fire alarm system and then transmitted over Mersey travels IP network and presented on Display Screens at the Primary Combined Control Centre (CCC) at Georges Dock Building and the fall back CCC at Kings Square.
Requirement to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Civil/Structural Engineering Consultant to undertake a detailed and comprehensive condition assessment of the following concrete structures within the Mersey Tunnels estate: Kingsway Tunnel covered approach roads & Queensway Tunnel retaining walls, gantries over-structures and statues.
LCRCA wishes to establish a measured term contract for Reactive and Planned Building & Facilities Maintenance works across its estate. Agreement will be fundamental to ensuring the effective and compliant operation, upkeep, and development of LCRCA-owned or operated buildings and infrastructure assets.
This is a Works contract being established for a term of 4 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years, subject to annual performance reviews. The scope is as follows:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of mechanical and electrical installations
Responsive and emergency call-out services
Minor M&E works and asset replacement
Electrical testing and certification (e.g. EICR)
BMS (Building Management Systems) monitoring and repair
• Renewable energy systems (e.g. solar PV, air/ground source heat pumps) maintenance
General building fabric maintenance (internal and external)
Reactive repairs to walls, roofs, floors, doors, windows, etc.
PPM schedules for building condition
Structural repair and maintenance
Drainage and groundworks repairs
Civil works including minor roadways, footpaths, kerbs, fencing, and barriers
Painting and decorating
Joinery and masonry work
Roofing inspections, cleaning, and repairs
Building inspections and surveys (as required)
Merseytravel (an officer of Liverpool City Region Combined Authority) is seeking to appoint a single strategic MDR/SOC provider to act as a trusted, accountable partner responsible for delivering robust cybersecurity, threat detection, incident response, and security operations, while driving innovation to ensure security enhances rather than constrains business operations.
The proposed contract is for an initial 2 years with an option to extend up to an additional 2 years.
A single supplier for both RTI hardware and software is sought to continue with the delivery of real time information and static messaging across the existing bus station and bus stop screens and QR codes, and to expand and enhance the RTI offer across the Liverpool City Region.
The new RTI offer will include improved accessibility for customers through audio functionality, richer content with journey planning and interactive local area maps, and low power options such as e-ink and solar-powered screens.
Screen hardware currently installed across the network will continue to be supported and maintained by the existing contractor until the point at which the screen is removed due to end of life or replacement.
New screens will be installed on a rolling programme in line with wider Merseytravel projects to deliver a new and improved RTI offer at bus stations, interchanges and bus stops. Screen purchases will be made using a call-off from a single party framework. The type of screen installed at each location will be determined by factors such as power source, patronage and the objectives of the delivery project under which the RTI improvement is being progressed.
Landscaping at Headbolt Lane Station to include:
• Creating maintenance access points into landscaped areas surrounding the Railway Station.
• Removal of weed vegetation
• Soil movement from soil mound to landscaped areas around the site.
• Creating access routes down slopes for maintenance purposes
• Raising of 2 manhole covers including an associated sandbag wall which will need FRAP approval from the EA.
• Creation of a Peace Garden
• Planting Trees
• Planting shrubs and herbaceous planting
• Grassland establishment
• 5 year maintenance of the site to ensure establishment of planting scheme
Merseytravel, as the Transport Authority for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is looking for an exceptional and collaborative consultant partner to support the Green Bus Routes Steering Group in taking the improvement of the Green Bus Route 10A from first draft preliminary design through to an approved Programme Level Business Case (PLBC), a completed detailed design and preparation of tenders for construction.
Requirements for supervision of the construction will be developed during the design phase and will be the subject of an additional commission, with a view to implementation of all the approved measures by mid-2025.

procure a Tickets, Online and Point of Sale Solution for the Mersey Ferries.
We are looking to appoint a provider for 3 years with the option to extend on a 24-month
rolling basis thereafter up to a maximum of a further 4 years.
The new booking platform is at the heart of the requirement. It requires a central back office
EPOS system which will manage all aspects of the product sales in real time, delivered simultaneously through multiple sales channels including online via
a). the Mersey Ferries website;
b). through the systems POS at Sales Desks such as at Ferry Terminals;
c). through LCRCA call centres and office locations;
d). through Self Service Kiosks at core locations;
e). through OTA’s and Channel Managers; and
f). via local Partner sales portals.

Contract duration: 3 years with the possibility of extending for two x 12 months.

Merseytravel owns and operates the ferry terminal, located at Woodside, Birkenhead,
Wirral. The heritage center part of the terminal building dates to the mid-19th century and is
a grade 2 listed building. The booking hall, landing stage, passenger bridge and restraint
boom were last replaced in 1985. The floating structures have been the subject of regular
condition surveys since then, and it is now considered that the pontoon and bridge have
reached the end of their operational life. Liverpool City Region Combined Authority /
Merseytravel in Partnership with Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council wish to deliver a
project to replace the floating pontoon with a new asset inclusive of the passenger bridge,
together with new passenger gangways, bollards, fenders, waiting room and associated
upgrades.
The contract covers the provision of specialist services for the inspection, maintenance, testing, and support of Emergency Ventilation Control Systems within the KW and QW Tunnels.
Provision of supported bus services contracts within the Merseyside region.

Removal of existing passenger lifts A, B, C, and D equipment and replacing it with 4x machine roomless design passenger lifts, one of which is a designated firefighting lift and another a designated evacuation lift. The project will also include all associated building and electrical works.
Following completion, the contract will also include 2 years maintenance for the newly installed lifts.
