Maldon District Council (MDC) is offering the Kiosk Concession based in Promenade Park, Maldon. Owing to the retirement of the long-standing operators, 'Deb & Bri',the kiosk is now available to lease. This popular Park Kiosk occupies prime position in Promenade Park, Maldon. Overlooking the river, the kiosk has served visitors for many years and is now being offered for lease for a period of 16 months (from June 2022 until 30 September 2023). As a food kiosk, it has previously served items such as hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, cakes, confectionery, snacks, ice creams. However, Maldon District Council will welcome applicants offering a different fayre or trade. Tenders are invited for the supply of services for the provision of Treasury Management Advisory Services to Maldon District Council

Maldon District Council are looking to appoint an architect in respect of two projects we want to deliver in Burnham on Crouch •A new access walkway and houseboat berth (Project 1) •A new public access pier and pontoon (Project 2) Delivery of both projects must be concluded by end Q4 2024. We require an ARB certified architect preferably with Marine experience, who can work collaboratively with the Council to move our ideas to a workable solution which can be delivered within our budget but will also achieve our ambitious plans to implement structures which are also innovative and environmentally sustainable. The service will cover the following sites, •Blackwater Leisure Centre (BLC) •Dengie Hundred Sports Centre (DHSC) In addition the management of the Splash Park in Promenade Park will be included. These are:  1.Maldon - London Road, Maldon CM9 6LJ (12.3-acre site)  2.Heybridge – Goldhanger Road, Heybridge, CM9 4QR (4.2-acre site)  3.Burnham on Crouch – Southminster Road, Burnham on Crouch, CM0 8QE (5.9-acre site)  All three cemeteries have traditional lawn sections and Gardens of Remembrance. Maldon and Burnham on Crouch also have natural burial areas where the grass is cut less frequently. Access to all sites is available during normal opening hours Monday to Sunday 08:00 – sunset or 20:00.   Maldon District Council are looking for a contractor for a three-year fixed term contract with the option of a one-year extension to provide a grounds maintenance service for all three of our cemeteries. The services will cover all aspects of grass cutting, hedge trimming, general grounds maintenance and weeding of the cremation beds and shrub beds.

Maldon District Council are seeking a contractor to provide cleansing and ancillary services associated with our nine (9) public conveniences and five (5) other Council facilities. 1.2The services will cover cleansing of relevant facilities at specified frequencies, opening and closing (locking and unlocking) of specified sites, and the provision of an attendant at Promenade Park during specified periods.

Maldon District Council is looking to appoint a contractor for refurbishment works to Stephens House located in the Maldon area. The property has been unoccupied for over 12 months and has been purchased by the Council to be used as temporary accommodation for homeless families within the area. The building comprises 4 two bedroom flats with communal areas to the ground floor including a lounge area with kitchen and a separate disabled W/C facility. Maldon District Council's requirement under this Contract is for a series of works at the Promenade Park located in Maldon, Essex. The works revolve around a feature known as the amphitheatre which is central within the Prom Park. The scheme of works will include decommission of both the amphitheatre bricked wings and then include a rebuild of both wings at a reduced level and with new materials. The top half of the amphitheatre will require landscaping and grading back to a natural surface state i.e. soil and turf. The works must be completed in such a way that the two wings (2 levels in height) are in keeping with the rest of the structure. The new wings must be reinforced and tidied into the banks to ensure longevity and structural safety
