Midland Heart requires a specialist event management company to offer expert advice, guidance and practical support in relation to our programme of business-wide corporate events. Depending on the purpose and scale of each event, the services required through this contract will vary. Those requirements will include some or all of the following, depending on the event:
Venue sourcing - Sourcing venues around specific requirements and general venue contract management.
Creative content - Support for event campaign ideas, event theming and digital production.
Speaker arrangements Researching and booking of external guest speakers, liaison with agents and fee negotiation.
Event branding - Creating strong visual identity and event concepts.
Digital - Covering AV requirements, digital support options and virtual events
Catering suppliers - Dependant on venue, audience and event – with particular attention to dietary and allergy requirements
Merchandise - Design, source and supply if required.
Logistics - Hotel and travel sourcing and arrangements where required.
Environmental -Showing sustainable planning and thinking on the delivery of each event, especially around materials, logistics and travel.
Contingency planning - Venue, guests and logistics fall-back plans.
Staffing - If third party support staff are required.
Budget - Input and management.
Reporting - Post event analysis eg. Attendance, feedback, sustainability review.

We are seeking partners who will work closely with us to deliver consistent, high-quality communal cleaning services across our housing stock, ensuring that all shared spaces are maintained to standards that reflect the pride and expectations of our tenants.
Partners must not only deliver core cleaning services but must do so in a way that reflects our values, respects our tenants as customers, and promotes dignity, safety, and well-being. Tenants' feedback and lived experiences will directly inform service delivery, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement in line with the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards, particularly around Tenant Involvement and Empowerment and Transparency, Influence and Accountability.
The contract has planned and reactive elements including such things as Fire Door Maintenance, Timber Doors and remedial works for fire compartmentation & Passive Fire Protection.
Midland Heart is undertaking a competitive tender process, the aim of which is to procure a panel of development consultants specifically to appoint Architects, Employer’s Agents / Purchaser’s agents, Clerk of Works, and Principal Designers. Tenderers are requested to study the specification documents in detail and ensure that the specified requirements can be met, an understanding of our requirements should be reflected in your Pricing. The Contract is expected to commence in January 2023. The resulting contract should assist Midland Heart in its endeavours to satisfy all current and future expectations of its customers, including those highlighted in the recent Social Housing White Paper. Midland Heart is seeking to procure a new Asset Management System to support the delivery of our Asset Management Strategy and our forthcoming corporate plan, “Tenants at Heart” 2026–2030.
This procurement represents a strategic opportunity to modernise and replace core systems that underpin our Asset Investment Strategy. Our key objectives are to drive operational efficiency by eliminating off-system processes and manual workarounds, while significantly enhancing the tenant journey and overall tenant experience.
This initiative forms a critical part of our internal project, “Knowing our Properties”, which focuses on strengthening our data, intelligence, and information systems to deliver better, more informed services for our tenants.
The asset management software must adhere to industry best practices and be fully supported by a third-party provider. The system should be a proven, largely “off-the-shelf” solution already in use by other comparable Housing Associations. It must offer a clear and ongoing development plan aligned with the requirements of the Social Housing sector , including the ability to adapt to future legislative and business changes / needs.
Midland Heart is looking for a high-quality solution, from reputable providers that deliver a service that is demonstrably focused around the needs of Midland Heart. Contractors are requested to study the specification documents “Schedules 1a & 1b” in detail and ensure that the specified requirements can be met, and an understanding of our requirements should be reflected in your Pricing.
Critically, our Procurement and Contract Management Solution should:
• Support the business with the full procurement and supply life cycle from pre-procurement to contract management and end of life
• Enable all users to simply and easily access and navigate the solution via single sign on
• Electronically tender in line with legislation and undertake Supplier communication electronically throughout all stages of procurement and contract management (including due diligence stages)
• Integrate with the Government's Central Digital Platform to publish required notices for compliance with the Procurement Act 2023
• Include a Contracts Register
• Have dashboard reporting capabilities for activities such as supplier performance, compliance reporting (e.g. are insurance documents up to date)
• Send reminders to Contract Managers and Suppliers regarding expired documents
• Enable Suppliers to self-serve
