TfL's lifts are critical assets that facilitate the moving of passengers around the network- and as such it is essential that they perform to a high standard, notably around their availability. TfL is awarding a single contract to deliver the planned and reactive maintenance of c.112 lifts primarily located on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines. The Supplier will deliver the planned preventative maintenance aligned to TfL's Cat 1 standards and will provide a 24/7 fault response service to address lift failures and entrapments. The Supplier will be required to carry out mid-life interventions of the lifts, as well as facilitating TfL and third party inspections. The contract has a duration of 5 years with an option to extend by up to a maximum of a further 4 years, 9 years maximum.
There are two Over Height Valves per bogie, 32 valves per vehicle and a requirement of 1,504 valves fitted to the fleet in total. This requirement is to provide the material only and the overhaul will be carried out by Depot Engineering.
This procurement will cover the supply of new Head Lights and Tail Lights for the replacement of existing old head and tail lights on the London Underground S stock (Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines) trains, required to renew the the lighting system compliance and to support the fleet overhaul activities.
The head and tail lights are bespoke to the S stock fleet and have not been replaced since the fleet's introduction, approximately 15 years ago.

This procurement is for the supply of door parts such as electrical motor, wiring chains, cables, driving screws, and seals from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Wabtec, for the overhaul of the Metropolitan line doors project.
The parts being procured are partial replacement of the existing ones as confirmed following the condition assessments which were initially conducted by TfL in 2022 and a further assessment is planned for January 2026.
This direct award procurement is for the supply of the bogie Primary Spring Chevrons for the Victoria Line fleet.
The primary suspension chevrons are Metalastik units made up of metal plates bonded with a moulded rubber layer. This rubber serves a dual purpose: it acts as a spring while also providing damping, and it allows limited movement so the wheelset can make small rotations in all directions.
The programme is phase 2 of the of the Victoria Line Heavy Overhaul programme. This phase will commence in October 2026.
The Chevrons will be fitted to the Bogies at Depot with a 100% mandatory swap out of 128 Chevron per train. 46 trains will be overhauled in total. The train overhaul is being undertaken by TFL engineering team.

This direct award procurement is for the supply of the bogie air springs for the Victoria Line 09TS fleet. The air spring is a safety‑critical component forming the secondary suspension of the train, directly influencing ride quality, passenger comfort, dynamic stability, and compliance with the kinematic gauge under all operating conditions.
The component was originally designed and manufactured by ContiTech to bespoke specifications provided by the train builder, Alstom. Its design incorporates proprietary rubber formulations and unique manufacturing processes that are protected as trade secrets and not available to third parties. As a result, only the original equipment manufacturer and its authorised distributor, Dellner Ferrabyrne Limited, can supply fully compatible parts.
Procurement of genuine OEM air springs ensures technical compliance, mitigates safety risks, and supports the continued safe operation and maintenance of the Victoria Line 09TS fleet.
This procurement is for the overhaul of internal doors of the Jubilee line. These services and parts being procured are partial replacement of the existing ones as confirmed by the conditional assessment completed in 2024.

Transport for London (TfL) is establishing a dual-supplier framework to support the delivery of the increased HV Power requirements to operate the new Piccadilly line rolling stock and signalling systems. The framework is primarily for the Piccadilly line HV Power requirements with an option to include wider LUL HV Power requirements.
This procurement covers the overhaul of the Jumper system (including parts & labour) on the London Underground Metropolitan line trains, required to renew the jumper system compliance and to support the fleet overhaul activities.
The jumpers are bespoken to the Metropolitan line fleet and have not been replaced since the fleet's introduction, approximately 16 years ago, hence are now due for overhauls in line with the train management regime.
The design, manufacture and ad hoc repairs on the Metropolitan line Jumper system has been carried out by the Original Equipment Manufacturers - AB Connectors (a subsidiary of TT Electronics), from the time of the fleet's procurement, so there would be a continuity of supply from the time of introduction of these components by using the current supplier.
