LLA has 30 departure gates, all with step on, step off access to the aircraft. LLA does not have any air bridges so access to and from the aircraft for PRM is via a minibus or ambulift from a designated boarding area. Note – drivers require a HGV Class C license for any road legal chasis ambulift at Luton.
London Luton Airport is looking for bidders forSpecialist contractors suppliers to tender for the design, construction, installation, full integration, testing, proofing and commissioning of compliance upgrades to the Passenger Search Area, to comply with the DFT and CAA requirements for the implementation of C3 technology for cabin baggage screening and use of 100 percent body scanning for passengers by June 2024. The works include the supply installation of C3 and body scanning equipment, installation , modifications to tray return systems, construction of a remote screening room and ancillary works. Prospective contractors suppliers must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing turnkey projects of a similar size, nature and complexity within European and or International passenger airports. Evidence of the applicant’s capabilities and previous experience with undertaking projects of this nature, will need to be adequately demonstrated within their tender.
LLA is inviting proposals from Car Parking Consolidators within the contract and this document, also defined as Suppliers to drive incremental car parking bookings for LLA. LLA requires the winning bidders to integrate with LLA’s ecommerce API to obtain products and pricing, and to ensure cancellation criteria are met. LLA requires the use of the Framework Contract to drive bookings throughout the duration of the contract and requires successful bidders to be flexible in their approach to receiving LLA’s parking inventory. LLA reserves the right to switch on and turn off inventory at the car park and or product level. This will be done via the API and will occur automatically as and when required.
