The scope of the services is to provide a comprehensive catering service to the Local Government Association (LGA), at its location at 18 Smith Square, London.
Two-year contract to look after the day-to-day operation of the ten websites the LGA's pensions team is responsible for and support for the training app.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
The provider awarded will create a new national LGPS Advisory Board website for England and Wales in line with Public Sector Bodies (Website and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. Redesign the site to make it look more professional, easier to navigate, and easier to find relevant content. Ensure we have functional mobile and desktop versions. Create new logos that are able be registered with the Intellectual Property Office for LGPS Advisory Board for England and Wales and the LGPS Code of Transparency. Ensure the site can be maintained and further developed by Secretariat users without knowledge of HTML and change the content management system.
The LGA has a responsibility to maintain its building at 18 Smith Square in London and are looking for a supplier to provide the total facilities management service.
The services include: Security, Cleaning and Janitorial Services, Hard FM (Mechanical/Electrical and Capital Works).
This procurement comprehensive market research project focused on the data landscape within English local government. This research will encompass all types of local authorities in England,
including county councils, district councils, unitary authorities. The findings of this research will be crucial in identifying and exploring opportunities for collaboration between the LGA and authorities for the commercialisation of local government data.
The “ASC Commissioning Self-assessment” resource will aim to support ASC commissioners:
-Assess the effectiveness of their current approaches, actions and behaviours across key aspects of ASC commissioning
-Identify and prioritise areas they wish to improve.
-Consider the steps they could take as part of their improvement journey
-Get easy access to, and make best use of, information and intelligence (and other resources) to support their ASC commissioning.

We wish to procure an experienced contractor who will work with key practice leaders, managers and other stakeholders in Blackpool Council to undertake a thorough case and practice audit, using a methodology that includes a Practice Assurance framework. The audit will be an initial diagnostic to assess and understand practice and practice culture, against a number of key requirements. The outputs will identify specific areas for attention and provide a baseline to guide and measure improvement. To undertake the work, a Practice Assurance framework, that will be rooted in strength based will be used. This can then be utilised by the council independently in the immediate future to guide measurement and quality improvements.
