LiveWest invites bids for the provision of an Occupational Health service. We are looking to appoint an efficient and reliable supplier for each of the following 3 lots. Where the supplier is unable to meet the requirements within the timescales specified, LiveWest reserves the right to proceed with an alternative provider. Suppliers should refer to the Requirements and Definitions section for clarification of assessments and requirements.
This tender is for provision of maintenance to all fire safety equipment - to include all checks and servicing as detailed within this tender and in addition to attend sites between service visits due to emergency call outs or breakdown as and when requested by LiveWest to affect the repair and replacement of any defective part of the fire safety systems and the labour, materials and other associated costs.
For this tender, LiveWest are looking for a competitive tender to prepare floor plans, fire strategy plans and fire door asset registers to 48 blocks. Please see Appendix 3 for further details.
Tenders are invited for the services specified in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Contract and the Specification.
Bidders must complete the Pricing Schedule according to their offer.
LiveWest does not bind itself to accept the lowest of any offer and reserves the right to accept an offer either in whole or in part, each item being for this purpose treated as offered separately. LiveWest reserves the right to award the contract to one or more suppliers and reserves the right to withdraw properties individually or in full following award. Conversely properties may be added/substituted by agreement subject to separate quotation.

LiveWest provides over 38,000 homes to over 80,000 people throughout the Southwest from Gloucestershire to the Isles of Scilly. We have plans to build over 6,000 homes in the area over the next five years, developing new homes of all tenures including low-cost rent and sale, market rent and sale, and a range of supported housing and intermediate housing products, creating choice and flexibility.\r
LiveWest maintains its communal areas and grounds to a high standard agreed in consultations with our residents. with this tender, we are looking to procure grounds maintenance services for our schemes in Devon and Cornwall areas.\r
LiveWest's grounds maintenance specifications centre around our "Total Site Care" approach. This means that all asset types at all schemes to be maintained at or above contract standards at all time during the course of the contract period with scheme presenting to a high standard through the year.\r
Grounds maintenance contracts will be managed by team of dedicated, professional and experienced managers as part of the Estate Services Team. Estate Services Team will work closely to develop close working partnerships with the winning contractors while keeping our customers at the centre of performance monitoring.\r

As part of this tender process, tenderers may be required to participate in a non-scored conversation in relation to environmental impact.\r

This will involve an conversation where each supplier will be asked a set of environmental questions, specific to the project by the operational lead, and a member of the environmental team.\r

We are carrying out this activity to better understand the environmental impact of carrying out our investment programme and how this may affect future procurement activities.
Works comprise of a full roof replacement and associated works including but not limited to;
- Existing roof covering to be removed and new provided to the entire roof area - 400 x 200 Brazilian grey / green nail fixed slates - similar to the existing.
- Remove existing as part of the works and integrate new lead valley guttering and cloak detailing.
- existing cast iron guttering and downpipes to be removed. Proposed new specification to be;
black UPVC "ogee" style guttering to match. min 100 - 125mm dia. with 75 - 100mm dia. downpipes to match.
- ALL existing brick faced chimneys to be removed to below roof line.
