PSR- Most Suitable Provider route
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity in relation to provision of CAMHS THRIVE-ing While We Wait (support) programme for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT).
The successful Subcontractor will recruit and host a Community Care Navigator role, to engage with families and carers of children and young people on a CAMHS treatment waiting list, this may sometimes include CYP awaiting further assessment. The role will support development of and promote take up of digital resources, culturally adapted workshops, and link families to wider support. The successful Subcontractor will support co-development to strengthen collaboration with health services, and support families during treatment waits.
The Commissioner presently expect the service will be best served by a single supplier partner with links to coproduction opportunities with other community projects in our diverse communities.
The initial fixed term contract duration shall be 2 years from 1st July 2026.
LPT require service commencement by the preferred bidder from 1st July 2026. The procurement timeline will require the successful bidder to mobilise within 6-months of contract award, all required licensing and regulatory registrations will need to be in place prior to service commencement.
Adult Eating Disorder Service- PSR Most Suitable Provider
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity in relation to provision of Adult Eating Disorder services for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPT), as the Lead Provider for Adult Eating Disorders (East Midlands).
The successful Subcontractor will accept NHS patients detained under the mental health act as well as those admitted informally, and will deliver services in line with the national specification for eating disorders (adults) available at: https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Specialised-eating-disorders-service.pdf.
The service will offer up to 12 inpatient beds.
The Commissioner presently expect the service will be best served by a single supplier partner.
The initial fixed term contract duration shall be 1 year from April 2025.
LPT require service commencement by the preferred bidder from April 2025. The procurement timeline will require the successful bidder to mobilise within 6months of contract award, all required licensing and regulatory registrations will need to be in place prior to service commencement.
The supplier shall operate under its own CQC registration.
The Provision of Block Booking Beds for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
Due to a temporary closure of some mental health beds within Leicestershire Partnership Trust we are looking to contract 5 acute mental health beds from another provider within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Expressions of Interest for Bespoke Adult Eating Disorder Inpatient Service
We are seeking expressions of interest to deliver a bespoke inpatient eating disorder service to a young adult outside of the usual contractual and financial framework for adult eating disorder inpatient services. <br/><br/>The person’s complexity of presentation and current acuity levels on the units. require us to procure a bespoke option that can meet the person’s treatment needs within a time-limited inpatient admission.
Expressions of Interest - Mental Health Central Access Point within Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is seeking expressions of interest from organisations who may be interested in supporting LPT with the provision of its Mental Health Central Access Point (MHCAP) telephone support service.
The MHCAP aims to ensure anyone with an urgent mental health need has telephone access to NHS support, advice and triage. The service provides a 24/7 telephone number for access to urgent mental health support. MHCAP links callers with support workers and LPT clinicians who can assess their needs and advise, support, signpost or refer them directly to the appropriate service. It offers an alternative to attending the emergency department and other services for people with urgent mental health needs. The service has pathways into the LPT Adult Mental Health, CAMHS, MHSOP and Learning Disabilities services.

LPTs existing service runs up until 31st Oct 2024. Ahead of this date LPT is undertaking a review of its requirements and of the market to help inform and shape the specification of the service from November 2024.

Provision of Taxi Services to Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is a Community and Mental Health Trust serving the population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).
LPT has a requirement for the use of taxis on a private hire basis to transport people (including staff and patients) and small consignments of goods between various locations within LLR.
It is imperative that LPT has arrangements in place for taxi services that are safe and cost effective. To support this objective, LPT intends to run a tender process to source and award contracts for the provision of taxi services to a provider or providers who can support the Trust to provide a high-quality service at competitive prices.
LPT intends to launch the tender process in Summer 2023.
As part of developing our requirements and tender process we would like to conduct some market engagement with taxi companies within the region. The purpose of the market engagement will be to speak with taxi companies to better understand the market in the region, learn about any services or technology that we could take advantage of and share our aims and objectives and gain feedback on our requirements.
We are anticipating arranging the following sessions:
• LPT presentation of our requirements, aim and objectives. To be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams, likely on Mon 15th May.
• Face-to-face meetings with interested suppliers to ask more specific questions and gain feedback on our specification. Likely to take place w/c 22nd May at a location in Leicester
