Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) is seeking to procure a People and Premises Risk Management solution. Changes in legislation and the tragedy of the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017 have provided lessons to show the value in combining relevant information when managing People, Premises and Risk information. As a result, LFRS wish to procure a system that will bring together the scheduling, recording and sharing of information across three of our core activities: • Fire Prevention: Home Safety Checks, Schools programme, community events; and Safeguarding: Vulnerable Persons, Fire Starter programme. • Fire Protection: including Fire Safety Audits (long and short form), Fire Safety Enforcement, Building Regulations Consultation, Fire Safety England Regulations 2022, License application consultation. • Operational Intelligence: Provision of Operational Risk Information System (PORIS), Site Specific Risk Assessments, Site Specific Risk Information. This data can then be used to better support our mission of Safer People, Safer Places. It is vital that LFRS work with a viable and credible supplier who has the track record, and professional discretion to deliver the required solution and services that will enable LFRS to meet its current and future goals and business needs. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is for LFRS to engage with suppliers of People and Premises Risk Management systems that are currently available on the market. We invite interest from suppliers to engage in demonstrations and discussion of how their existing platforms will meet our present and future requirements. LFRS will use these engagements to gather information and produce a specification of requirements, which will be used for any future tender exercise that may take place. This PIN replaces any previous PIN issued. Suppliers who have responded to previous PINs are encouraged to engage with us again to provide up to date information. Timeline 18th February 2025: Prior Information Notice issued. 6th March 2025:Suppliers can note their interest in the PIN process by requesting the questionnaire by 6th March 2025 Closing date 14th March 2025: Suppliers to submit their completed questionnaire by 14th March 2025 March 24th - April 11th 2025: Supplier demonstrations, dates to be agreed. All correspondence, including responses, must be in written format and sent to ictprocurement@leics-fire.gov.uk. All requests for clarification or additional information will be logged and replies issued to all providers. Valid PIN responses must contain the completed questionnaire and be submitted by the closing date. Failure to submit a completed questionnaire will result in ineligibility to provide a demonstration to LFRS. It is the provider's responsibility to ensure their response arrives by the closing date
