This new Framework will replace our successful Whole House Framework (WH2). The Refurbishment and Modernisation Framework will provide our clients with access to a range of refurbishment, improvement and modernisation services to maintain their buildings and surrounding external areas. The framework builds on the scope of LHCs' Whole House Framework and extends the scope to allow for works to be carried out in both residential and non-residential buildings. This Framework consists of the following workstreams: - Kitchens & Bathrooms with Associated Works - Electrical Works - Painting & Decorating - Environmental & External Works - Multi-Disciplinary Works To encourage SMEs and regional bidders most workstreams are further split into project value band lots and each lot is also broken down into multiple regional areas allowing bidders to apply for the regional areas they commonly operate in. In addition to encourage a good representation of SME and larger organisations on both the kitchen and bathroom and multi-disciplinary workstreams, bidders will only be able to apply for 2 of the 3 lots available under each of these workstreams. Architecture Design Services framework is designed to provide an extensive range of architectural services, thereby catering to a diverse spectrum of requirements. Welsh Procurement Alliance seek to establish a framework for the construction of new build housing projects. The works (including associated services and/or supplies) to be delivered include the development of new build housing projects, including ‘Housing’ (housing, bungalows, flats, apartments etc.) and ‘Accommodation’ (sheltered accommodation, care homes, extra care e.g. dementia) student accommodation etc. The proposed scope would also include, but not limited to: - Conversions to form new dwellings, flats, bedsits or any other form of accommodation. - Any joint ventures, partnerships and such like between contracting authorities and principal contractors. - Package deals between contracting authorities and contractors. - The provision of community facilities as part of a wide construction project. The aim in the development of this framework will be to provide an efficient, value for money procurement route for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies for the design, supply and delivery of roofing systems and associated works in all types of public sector refurbishment and new build projects; including: - Multi occupancy residential buildings (low/medium/high rise) - Schools - Colleges - Universities - Public offices - NHS buildings - Blue Light buildings - Other public buildings The LHC Roofing Framework is designed to provide a comprehensive solution for the refurbishment, replacement, and new-build installation of various roofing systems. This framework ensures that all works are carried out in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance. Contractors are expected to collaborate closely with manufacturers to guarantee that system designs align with approved specifications. This includes reviewing architectural drawings, conducting detailed site surveys, identifying potential challenges, and ensuring proper material handling to maintain product integrity. Works applicable across all workstreams include associated roofing components, such as roof lights, guttering, fascia, soffits, downpipes, flashings, roof safety markings, and scaffolding systems. Additionally, the supply and installation of solar PV systems are covered where applicable, as well as any necessary render repairs to parapets, upstands, or adjacent walls. Workstream 1 – Traditional Flat Roofing: Covers the refurbishment, replacement, and new-build installation of built-up roofing, torch-on felt, cold-applied felt, single-ply bitumen membrane, and hot-melt roofing systems. Workstream 2 – Liquid Flat Roofing: Focuses on cold-applied and hot-applied liquid roofing systems, including polyurethane-based, polymeric, and reinforced liquid membrane solutions Workstream 3 – Profiled Metal Roofing: Covers the supply, refurbishment, and installation of standing seam, composite panel, built-up metal, corrugated metal, and secret-fix metal roofing systems. Workstream 4 – Pitched Roofing: Includes the design, supply, and installation of plain tile, interlocking tile, slate, concrete tile, and profiled metal sheet roofing systems. Workstream 5 – Mixed Roofing: Provides a hybrid approach, covering both flat and pitched roofing systems within a single project. This framework is designed for the installation, renewal, and associated works for a wide range of fire doorsets across LHCPG clients domestic, commercial, and mixed use premises. The scope covers various materials, including timber, composite, and steel, along with access control provision, ensuring flexibility to meet different project requirements. For timber and composite door products only, this framework includes the installation of fully certified and bi-directionally tested fire-resisting door sets to meet current and future fire safety standards. The scope may also extend to other building openings, and non-fire-rated doors, provided these elements do not form the majority of the works and are not the core focus of the works.
