The University is looking to construct the newly designed Middle Mill Building that will be a highly sustainable, student-facing building and one that aims to provide space for expansion of studio-based teaching via the provision of flexible, adaptable studios with technical support space. The building is proposed as a hybrid mass-timber frame structure and that will accommodate student and staff facilities to enhance the wider campus experience.

Kingston University is looking to renew its grounds maintenance contract to provide a service to maintain all specified external grounds areas belonging to Kingston University. The contract is to be for three year/s (‘Initial Term’) with an option to extend it for up to 2 further individual years beyond the Initial Term (3 + 1 + 1).
This is managed by the KUSCO (Kingston University Services Company) to maintain the grounds within a green multi site campus where some are very close to the Hogsmill river that brings challenges to the services provider that can conform and perform to the required specification. The University is proud and passionate about the biodiversity and green space within the London area where care can be needed with landscaping, arboriculture services and biodiversity care and attention.
The Procurement is split into two stages, a PSQ stage and ITP stage. Using some technical and experience questions to be answered in the first stage, the answers will be assessed by an experienced panel that upon agreement shall progress up to six bidders to a secondary tender competition stage that will have the opportunity to win the contract.

The University is intending to create a new consultancy framework to call off for managing potential projects from the Estate Programme.
This is a programme of projects across the University’s four campuses that will include a range of requirements from formal teaching spaces, learning spaces, staff offices, breakout/informal study areas, workshops, laboratories, student social spaces, support spaces, performance spaces, and external areas. Projects are expected have construction values ranging from £50,000 up to £5,000,000 but in exceptional circumstances the value of an individual project may exceed this figure.
