The Authority require the supply of the following types of training rescue manikins and associated accessories:
Lot 1 - Fire house manikins - A manikin that simulates an unconscious casualty. This must be available in adult, child and toddler sizes.
Lot 2 - Extrication and technical rescue manikins - Two types of manikins are required - one that simulates an unconscious casualty and one that simulates a conscious casualty. These must be available in adult, child and toddler sizes.
Lot 3 - Water rescue manikins - Two types of manikin are required - one that simulates a sinking casualty and one that simulates a floating casualty. These must be available in adult, child and toddler sizes.
The Framework Authority is therefore seeking to establish a national framework for ladders consisting of 3 Lots used on Fire Appliances-
Lot 1 - Repairable Ladders - Riveted Type (requires no welding)
Lot 2 - Repairable ladders - Welded type
Lot 3 Unrepairable ladders - Swaged Type.
Lots 1 and 2 will also include the provision of repairs and maintenance services and the provision of associated training services to allow for in-house repair, servicing and maintenance of ladders.
The Framework Authority is therefore seeking a single supplier for each of Lots 1, 2 and 3. The Framework Authority anticipates entering into a Framework Agreement (one for each of the Lots 1, 2 and 3) with the successful supplier(s). Organisations permitted to enter into Call-Off Agreement(s) pursuant to such Framework Agreement(s) will be able to direct award to whichever supplier best meets their requirements in terms of current operational needs and compatibility with existing equipment and appliances. Organisations permitted to enter into Call-Off Agreement(s) pursuant to such Framework Agreement(s) include all Fire and Rescue Authorities and other Blue Light Emergency Services (as defined under the list of category 1 responders set out in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and which includes Police Forces, British Transport Police, Ambulance Services and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, within the British Islands (as defined in section 5 of the Interpretation Act 1978) (each a “Participating Authority” and together referred to as the “Participating Authorities”).

The Authority is seeking to appoint a suppler or suppliers by competitive tender for the provision of Education Assessment Qualification Training. The requirement is split into two LOT's.

The solution must provide testing functionality, and track all aspects of a defined item from cradle to grave. Kent Fire and Rescue are seeking a supplier for the provision of vehicle conversion. The successful supplier will be required to convert 4 base vehicles that will be issued by the Authority. The conversion will cover the following 4 vehicles:

Additional, there are some members of the training team that specialise in hazardous materials. Once competent as a HMA, Officers will attend a National Resilience course to become a DIM Adviser. Regular and appropriate CPD is also required to maintain these specialist skills.

Kent Fire and Rescue are seeking a supplier to convert 2 Iveco Daily chassis cabs that will used by our Urban Search and Rescue team. The base vehicles will be issued to the successful supplier by the Contracting Authority.
The conversion will include a box body construction, internal equipment stowage, electrical and lighting systems and installation of a mobile data terminal.
