Contract for:- Jigsaw Homes Group - Waste Management Contract - Lot 1 (North), Lot 2 (Manchester), Lot 3 (Tameside), Lot 4 (Midlands) The current service is managed by a number of different waste management service providers and the purpose of this tender is to consolidate our waste management provider(s) on the same terms and conditions to ensure consistency and efficiency across all the Jigsaw Homes Group regions. The tender is split into four lots and the tendering Waste Management Company's can bid for just one, two, three or all four lots dependent on their size, capability and service levels; - Lot 1 - North - Lot 2 - Manchester - Lot 3 - Tameside - Lot 4 - Midlands

This service is currently managed by a mixture of in-house Operatives mixed with several contractors throughout the North & Tameside regions. It is our intention to outsource the whole of the Asset Management Communal Window Cleaning Service and split into two Lots. The first, Lot 1 - North which covers parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire & Merseyside, the second, Lot 2 - Tameside area and the third, Lot 3 - Midlands. Bidders can apply for one Lot, tow or all three Lots.The initial contract for 3 years with an option of an additional year and consist of the following number per Lot

The service provider shall be required to have the skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications necessary to deliver an effective programme of surveying of Japanese Knotweed, report on the findings and recommend all appropriate actions and produce a completion certificate to properties owned and managed by Jigsaw Homes Group (JHG) including;communal (& public) areas to residential properties;JHG owned commercial properties;new build properties (from developer handover onwards);Any other buildings for which JHG have a responsibility for.This service is currently managed by a mixture of in-house Operatives mixed with several contractors throughout the regions. It is our intention to outsource the whole of the Midlands Grounds Maintenance again.The grounds maintenance consists of maintaining 106 No sites/locations (refer to Section 10 - App 7 - Address List & Section 10 - App 8 - Site/Location Maps for further information) with an approximate annual value of circa GBP 115,000, covering the following elements of work;- Grass Cutting- Litter Pick- Hoe & Weed Shrubs/Flowers/Roses- Cut Shrubs- Prune & Deadhead Roses- Hedge Cutting- Spraying- Planting Flowers & other Plants including Watering- Leaf ClearanceThe initial contract is for 1 year with an option of an additional one year extension, pending quality, service levels and performance.

Jigsaw Homes Midlands require a specialist electronic maintenance works Contractor in relation to- Automatic Door Entry Systems- Warden Control Systems- Digital Aerials- Fire Protection Equipment- Access Control Systems- CCTV SystemsFor properties owned and managed by Jigsaw Homes Midlands (JHM) only, including;- communal (& public) areas to residential properties;- JHM owned commercial properties;- new build properties (from developer handover onwards);- Any other buildings for which JHM have a responsibility for.The successful Contractor will be expected to mobilise to our timescale and be operational by 1st July 2023.

The service provider shall be required to have the skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications necessary to deliver an effective programme of renewal of gas condensing boilers, report on the findings and recommend all appropriate actions and produce a completion certificate to properties owned and managed by Jigsaw Homes Group (JHG) including;- communal (& public) areas to residential properties;- JHG owned commercial properties;- new build properties (from developer handover onwards);- Any other buildings for which JHG have a responsibility for.The initial contract for the first year, 2023/2024 will be a Pilot scheme with the numbers to be approximately 1000 per year.JHG intends to enter into a Contract, please refer to Section 9 - Terms of Agreement for more information and upon success of the initial Pilot scheme it is our intention to extend the contract on a year on year basis for a further four years. The approximate number of gas condensing boiler replacement and heating replacement during the whole life of the contract with an approximate split of 50/50 between the North & Tameside is as follows;2023/2024 - Pilot Scheme - 500 No Lot 1 only2024/2025 - up to 1,000 No Lot 1 & 1,000 No Lot 22025/2026 - up to 1,000 No Lot 1 & 1,000 No Lot 22026/2027 - up to 1,000 No Lot 1 & 1,000 No Lot 22027/2028 - up to 1,000 No Lot 1 & 1,000 No Lot 2

The service provider shall be required to have the skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications necessary to deliver an effective programme of pest control in the Midlands area, report on the findings and recommend all appropriate actions and produce a completion certificate to properties owned and managed by Jigsaw Homes Group (JHG) including;communal (& public) areas to residential properties;JHG owned commercial properties;new build properties (from developer handover onwards);Any other buildings for which JHG have a responsibility for.The initial contract is for two years and by performance and mutual agreement and extension of one year plus an option of an extra year (in total 4 years).The successful Contractor(s) will be expected to mobilise to our timescale and be operational by September 2023, please refer to Section 1.10 the Tender Process Summary below for more details.The initial contract period, will run for 2 years and if successful a further two years extended year on year based on performance and by mutual agreement.This Tender will comply and meet OJEU requirements and UK Public Procurement Regulations 2015.
