InterTradeIreland (ITI) requires a Contractor to undertake 13 quarterly surveys and analysis (over 3 years and 5 months, Q3 2022 to Q3 2025) on business confidence and various all-island business and economic themes. InterTradeIreland requires Pulse Surveys through the timeframe of the project and require a Business Panel for the duration of the contract. The contract is due to commence on 01 August 2022.
InterTradeIreland wishes to appoint a Contractor to provide the following services: Brand and Digital Strategy, Creative Design, Advertising and Related Services, for its corporate and programme communications. The Contractor will be required to provide a comprehensive suite of services including brand management and creative strategy, digital and social media strategy, advertising (traditional and digital), creative design and content creation, video production and copywriting.
InterTradeIreland wishes to appoint a Contractor to deliver its Acumen Programme which aims to assist SMEs in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to overcome barriers to, and develop, new cross-border business. The Programme makes a significant contribution to building the capability and capacity of SME’s to take the first formal steps onto the export ladder. The programme assists SMEs to employ a sales resource, in either full time or part time capacity for up 12 months.

As one of the cross-border bodies established under the Belfast Good Friday Agreement, InterTradeIreland is funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment in Ireland and the Department for the Economy (DfE) in Northern Ireland. The InterTradeIreland website serves as a crucial tool for communicating the organisation's mission, services, and offerings to cross-border companies, key stakeholders, and the wider public. It holds substantial significance as the primary interface representing the organisation to the public. Currently, the website garners an average of over 10,000 sessions per month. InterTradeIreland seeks an experienced web provider capable of managing, hosting, and providing support, maintenance, and future development services for its current website, which is required to operate on the Craft content management system (CMS) to deliver the functionality as detailed in this specification. The initial contract period is for 3 years with 2 further optional extension period of up to 1 year each. InterTradeIreland (the Buyer) wishes to appoint a Supplier to undertake the role of delivery agent for the Funding Advisory Programme for Established SMEs (Phase Four). The overarching aim of the Funding Advisory Programme for Established SMEs is to change a culture of over dependency by SME’s on bank finance, educate them on new and alternative sources of non-bank funding and build the financial capacity of SMEs.
InterTradeIreland requires a supplier to provide strategic event management services and to support the delivery of its programme of events in both Northern Ireland and Ireland. InterTradeIreland holds a number of events each year, ranging from small workshops, webinars, larger conferences, networking events and award dinners. These events are not only an essential part of programme delivery, but also assist InterTradeIreland in achieving the necessary levels of awareness, engagement and credibility amongst key audiences and meet annual brand awareness, pipeline and programme participation targets. InterTradeIreland is the Trade and Business Development Implementation Body, one of six cross-border bodies established under the 1998 Belfast Agreement. InterTradeIreland, under the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme, aim to appoint up to four Suppliers to design, manage and deliver the Women in Research Programme. This is an all-island initiative designed to support women researchers in commercialising their research and progressing towards investment and business creation. Delivered by the Buyer under the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme, the programme aims to bridge the gender gap in research commercialisation by providing structured support, entrepreneurial training and access to market validation opportunities. The programme will run from the date of award (anticipated to be March 2026) and must be completed by 31 December 2028.
DFE - INTERTRADEIRELAND - ALL ISLAND BUSINESS MONITOR - InterTradeIreland requires a Supplier to undertake 16 quarterly surveys (over 3 years with an option to extend for a 4th year) with data collection and analysis for Q1 2026 to Q4 2029 on business confidence and various all-island business and economic themes. The Supplier must also provide up to 80 in-depth interviews a year and up to a maximum of 8 Pulse Surveys a year, the timing of which is flexible, through the timeframe of the project (for data collection periods Q1 2026 – Q4 2029). InterTradeIreland is the All-Island Trade and Business Development Body and is the only organisation that has been given responsibility by both governments to boost North-South economic cooperation to the mutual benefit of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The agency’s remit is to ‘exchange information and coordinate work on trade, business development and related matters, in areas where the two administrations specifically agree it would be in their mutual interest.’
InterTradeIreland require an All-Island Supply Chain Support Programme that will offer an integrated suite of supports within a cohesive framework / brand proposition. It will be a structured programme offering both “Upstream” and “Downstream” support for businesses.

The primary objective of this requirement is to appoint a Supplier to develop and deliver a structured Get Exporting Cross Border 8-step programme. The programme will be completed by 60 SMEs from across the island, comprising Ireland-based Food & Beverage businesses and Northern Ireland-based Manufacturing and Tradeable Services businesses. The Supplier will deliver the programme on behalf of InterTradeIreland and will have full responsibility for overall programme management and the coordinated delivery of all programme activities in accordance with the scope and the contract terms and conditions.
The Supplier must design, manage and deliver a 16-month programme for minimum of 60 SME's based on the Island of Ireland. In detail this will be a minimum of 30 SME's from Ireland in the Manufacturing and Tradeable services sectors; a minimum of 10 Food and Beverage SME's from Ireland; & a minimum of 20 SMEs from Northern Ireland in the manufacturing and tradeable services sectors.
