The gallery is approximately 950 square metres and is situated on the 3rd floor, It will showcase around 300 of our visual media collections. The basebuild for this project is already underway and is expected to be complete in February 2023.

IWM have appointed Fraser Randall as the Project Manager and the AV Hardware Contractor will be required to liaise with them in relation to this work, in addition to the IWM team (Employer).
This Contract covers the appointment of an AV Integrator (referred to as AV Hardware Contractor) to complete the purchase, installation and commissioning of AV hardware as part of the Exhibition fitout works for the BAFP space at Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road, London, SE1 6HZ

The current plant room AHU serves Levels 3, 4 and 5 galleries in the museum. Including the new Second World War and Holocaust Galleries and the in development Art, Film and Photography Gallery opening November 2023, at Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road, London, SE1 6HZ.
The museum intends to instal a new AHU for the AFP Gallery space and rationalise existing redundant infrastructure in the plant room in level 4.

This covers approximately 4,500m2 of pavement and footpath restoration works to the existing Parade Square at Duxford, which is located to the North of the A505 and opposite to the main site at Duxford (see specification for full details):
