Hull College Group aims to acquire 46 laptops for our 14-16 School to replace old damaged laptops. This tender is separate from the College's regular ICT capital expenditure requests, later this year.
This tender will be advertised on the College's Intend portal. The estimated value of the tender is expected to exceed £25,000 inc VAT, necessitating a tender process for best value and adherence to the College's Financial regulations. We are expecting to direct award this tender due to the short timelines involved. We must be invoiced before 31st July
Hull College is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country with around 500 staff, and around 12,000 students every year.
The College has conducted a market evaluation and narrowed our requirements down to 1 manufactured and model, which provides the specification and approximate price point for our budgets. The models details are listed below
We will only accept this manufacture and model or a higher specification from the same manufacture, if the models specified are not available. For example a faster CPU may be substituted, or more ram can be added etc. No other manufactures will be accepted.
In addition to the requirements in this tender, a further call off will be put in place to allow for additional units to be purchased, for 18 months from award of tender.
