Home Group Ltd (HGL) require Contractor(s) to provide the following services to HGL’s commercial boilers systems under this Contract: • Safety Checks • Periodic Servicing and Inspections • Planned & Responsive Maintenance • Out of Hours Responsive Maintenance • Major Works • Reporting Component Lifecycle Data The Contract includes but is not limited to the servicing and responsive maintenance of all commercial boiler systems, appliances, all associated pipework, valves, controls, electrical panels, carbon monoxide detectors, building management systems, in addition to all elements of the heating system including radiators, pipework, timers, thermostats, valves, water feeds and domestic hot water ancillaries and run-off taps. For the avoidance of doubt the Contract services include all elements of the system in its entirety. The Contract does not include waste systems separate to the heating system. Any heating system that HGL instructs the Contractor to service, inspect, repair or replace will be considered a commercial boiler system for the purposes of this Contract. The Contract may advise HGL that a system is not a commercial, HGL at its discretion may then remove it from the property schedule. This opportunity is ideally suited but not restricted to SMEs with a presence or experience of operating in and around the North Lakes area and able to provide a reactive service. Owing to the reactive nature of the work we are unable to confirm volumes of work, however, historically our current service provider spends in the order of £150k per annum on reactive scaffold provision. This tender is to include works to our leasehold properties the timeline for award is influenced by the need to comply with Section 20 legislation, it is anticipated that no formal award will be made until around 19th February 2024. The contract will be for a 2 year term with the option for 2 x 12 month extensions.

The type of work may vary from a single door or window repair or replacement to a whole property re-fit. The Framework will support our Direct Labour Organisation in the North West (North Lakes) of England. Therefore, it would be advantageous if the Framework provider are able to attend site, conduct surveys, manufacture, and install windows and doors with minimal time disruption. Tenderers should note that the Contract is a Framework contract and orders under it will be made by Home Group as and when required. Home Group can offer no guarantee that any orders will be placed under the Contract, the work is likely to be on an ad-hoc basis.
