In support of a Mountain Bike Park project at Cairngorm Mountain, a conveyor belt system for the transport of persons and material is required. The conveyor belt uplift will have flat all-weather gather areas at the top of each uplift. These will provide a start area for the trails and allow for riders to rest as they descend.

HIE, in partnership with Orkney Islands Council (OIC), wishes to commission a suitably experienced architect led Design Team for the development of Phase 2 of the ORIC. HIE intends to award a multi-supplier Framework for Events Management which will provide support for planning, managing and successfully running a wide range of digital, physical and hybrid events, or supporting internal event managers. This may include implementation of conferences, exhibitions, dinners and launch events. Most events will be in Scotland, but on occasion may be elsewhere in the UK or abroad.

The Board of Trustees (the Trustees) of the Highlands and Islands Enterprise Superannuation Scheme (TBTHSS) are inviting bids for pension support services including Administration; Investment and Actuarial and also Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) equalisation exercise. It is expected that these services will be required from 1 May 2022 for an initial period of 3 years with the Trustees having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term. Should the supplier be unsuccessful at the re-tender, the administration services element of the contract will be extended by up to 6 months - the maximum contract length is stated as 54 months to reflect this. The maximum initial 3-year budget currently available to deliver the core elements of the service is GBP 650,000 and the maximum budget for the GMP equalisation exercise is GBP 100,000 (both excluding VAT - see Scope of Requirements and Tender Guidance for full details).

HIE intends to award a multi-supplier Framework for Marketing and Public Relations. Key activities include marketing campaigns, PR services, monitoring of efficacy, promotional materials, copy and news release.

HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide reception and support services at An Lòchran and the Life Science Innovation Centre (LSIC), as well as a tenant liaison service within the NEXUS facility at Solasta House.

HIE intends to award a Framework for Copywriting suitable for a range of formats for various channels, including social, website, print, blogs and advertising.

HIE are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced external independent sectoral, technical and strategic advisory support to contribute to the implementation of the HIE Space Programme. The role of the advisory support is important to HIE’s governance around the HIE Space Programme, as it will provide continuity of advice and support to HIE as the Space Programme evolves. It is recognised that the pool of potential companies may be limited, not least by the need to ensure they do not have conflicts of interest which would impinge on their ability to independently advise HIE. For example, companies providing support to HIE should not have a commercial relationship with any proposed launch sites or operators. It is anticipated that the contract will be let from 23 May 2023 for a period of 2 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions, with HIE having the option to extend twice for a period not exceeding 1 year following the Initial Term (2+1+1 years i.e. maximum total extension period of 2 years). It is a duration contract and payments will be made in arrears, based on the services carried out. Therefore, the total amount paid under this contract might be less than the maximum budget (maximum budget is not guaranteed to be used up).
