HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide planned preventative maintenance and repairs services for buildings at Inverness Campus, Enterprise Park Forres and certain services at our Lochgilphead office. THIS IS A CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE AND AS SUCH THE PROCUREMENT PROCESS IS COMPLETE. HIE has appointed a service operator for the Manufacturing Innovation Centre Moray (MICM). The services are required from 3 October 2025 for an initial period of 3 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract. HIE has an option to extend the contract period by up to 2 years, until 2 October 2030. The value of the initial 3-year period is GBP 804,738 (excluding VAT) including GBP 150,879 (excluding VAT) for various allowances. The total contract value in section II.1.7 and V.2.4. refers to the total contract value including the optional extension period/s and the various allowances.

The contract has been AWARDED to provide a multi-disciplinary Design Team to prepare detailed plans for the proposed development and is capable of providing, as a minimum, Civil & Structural engineering services Architectural services, Mechanical & Electrical engineering services, Landscape consultancy services, Acoustic consultancy services and Sustainability/Whole Life Carbon Assessment services. The contract has a start date of 15.9.2025 and an end date of 14.9.2026 plus 1 optional 6 month extension.

Form and lead a design team including Architect, Civil/Structural Engineer, Principal Designer, Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, Landscape Architect (all to RIBA Stage 4 and Tender Pack). The contract has a start date of 9.2.2026 and an end date of 8.2.2027 plus 1 optional 6 month extension.

HIE requires a suitable qualified and experienced supplier to provide cleaning services at a number of buildings at Inverness Campus. The contract will be let from 1 June 2026 for the initial period of 3 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Conditions, with HIE having the option to extend for a further period of up to 12 months and another further period of up to 12 months following the Initial Term (i.e. the maximum contract length including the optional extension periods is 5 years). The currently envisaged budget for the the first 2 years is GBP 127,800 - GBP 182,600 (excluding VAT). The prices will remain fixed for Year 1 and 2 of the contract, thereafter a price increase mechanism may apply, as per the tender documents. The value stated in sections II.1.5 and II.2.6. refers to the estimated contract value over the maximum length of the contract (i.e. 5 years).

The programme will inspire participants to increase their ambition, confidence and capability to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and enter pathways for starting a business through a programme of entrepreneurial training and mentoring tailored towards underrepresented groups/individuals specific learning needs. HIE are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced external independent sectoral, technical and strategic advisory support to contribute to the implementation of the HIE Space Programme. The role of the advisory support is important to HIE’s governance around the HIE Space Programme, as it will provide continuity of advice and support to HIE as the Space Programme evolves. It is recognised that the pool of potential companies may be limited, not least by the need to ensure they do not have conflicts of interest which would impinge on their ability to independently advise HIE. For example, companies providing support to HIE should not have a commercial relationship with any proposed launch sites or operators. These services will be required between 23 May 2023 and 22 May 2025 for a period of 2 years, with HIE having the option to extend twice for a period not exceeding 1 year following the Initial Term (2+1+1 years i.e. maximum total extension period of 2 years, until 22 May 2026 or 2027). It is a duration contract and payments will be made in arrears, based on the services carried out. Therefore, the total amount paid under this contract might be less than the maximum budget (maximum budget is not guaranteed to be used up). The building is circa 1,500 m2 GIFA and the contractor will be required to appoint its own design team to complete any necessary post-contract design. The contractor will be responsible for the management of its designers and all sub-contractors to ensure that the project is delivered on time and preferably below the indicated budget. HIE has awarded a contract to a single supplier to provide the following services: move waste off-site from Arnish and dispose of in a suitably authorised and licenced waste facility by 31st March 2024. The special waste must be properly consigned in accordance with SEPA requirements and be disposed of by a registered waste carrier for all movements. Remediation works will also be required to facilitate surrendering of the Waste Management License (WML) currently in place with SEPA. The 2 month contract has a start date of 30.1.2024 and an end date of 31.3.2024. HIE has the option to extend for 1 further period of up to 3 months.
