This contract relates to a single package of work for Design and build of High Voltage (HV) Power Systems for the HS2 Project plus a separate contract for ongoing maintenance. The scope of work includes the design, build, testing & commissioning, training, and provision of all required hand-over documentation & spares. The scope also includes interfacing with Distribution Network Operators (DNO), National Grid, and procuring of consents. The scope of work for maintenance includes the ongoing maintenance of the completed works.
This procurement relates to track systems and HS2 Ltd has awarded the following contracts:
1) Delivery contract for Track - Urban (Lot 1 below)
2) Delivery contract for Track – Open Route Central (Lot 2 below)
3) Delivery contract for Track – Open Route North including Birmingham Spur (Lot 3 below)
4) Framework Agreement for Track delivery and other works (see Lot 4 below)

Economic operators may have only expressed an interest in Lot 4 if they have also expressed an interest in one or more of Lots 1, 2 & 3.
HS2 Ltd invoked an exceptional circumstance detailed in the ITT to award Lots 1, 2 and 3 to a single Tenderer.
The procurement relates to Tunnel and Lineside Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works for the HS2 Project and HS2 Ltd is awarding the contract for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning, and maintenance of the M&E systems in open route (remote from the rail systems compounds) and tunnels, including tunnel and portal shafts, portal buildings and cross-passages.
The Contract is for the Engineering Management System (EMS) of HS2’s Railway Systems category. This includes the provision of design, installation, testing, commissioning and ongoing technical support.
HS2 Ltd has awarded the Stations Design Services Contracts (SDSC) which are divided into the following 4 Lots:
Southern Lots
• London Euston; and
• Old Oak Common.
Northern Lots
• Interchange Station; and
• Birmingham Curzon Street.
The scope of Design Services (including base scope and optional scope) was described in the Pre-Qualification Pack (‘PQP’) and accompanying Procurement Documents, Applicants/Tenderers were able to express interest in and, if shortlisted, tender for all 4 Lots.
HS2 Ltd has procured Switches and Crossing Contract across Phase One, Phase 2a, with an option exercisable to include those for Phase 2b of the project and the maintenance depots for the design, manufacture, delivery and provision of technical support for Switches and Crossings (S&C), including associated Points Operating Equipment (POE), together with Rail Expansion Devices (REDs). This includes installation of the condition monitoring system and POE.
HS2 Ltd awarded three contracts to the same organisation as a result of this procurement:
1) A contract for the production of standard system designs, and
2) A single supplier framework agreement, and
3) A technical support contract for the provision of technical support services related to S&C's post installation.
