As per the PSR direct award process C requirements, the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and HWE ICB are satisfied that the incumbent Provider is likely to satisfy the new contract. The proposed contracting arrangements are not changing from the existing contract provision.

MSI is an incumbent provider in Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB and delivers a termination of pregnancy service to Hertfordshire and West Essex patients. The contract award will ensure continuity of termination of pregnancy services that is timely and safe to patients in the Hertfordshire and West Essex region. As per the PSR direct award process C requirements, the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and HWE ICB are satisfied that the incumbent Provider is likely to satisfy the new contract. The proposed contracting arrangements are not changing from the existing contract.

Provision of Oliver McGowan Learning Disability and Autism Training™ - Tier 1, Tier 2 and Lead Trainer

Spirit Healthcare Limited is an incumbent provider in Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB since 2019 and delivers an education service to East and North Hertfordshire patients. The contract award will ensure that this service can continue to be delivered for patients newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The sessions are four hours long and patients have a choice of receiving them face to face or virtually. <br/><br/>As per the PSR direct award process C requirements, the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and HWE ICB are satisfied that the incumbent Provider is likely to satisfy the new contract. The proposed contracting arrangements are not changing from the existing contract.

The service provides a package of care (POC) based on assessed needs of the patient as soon as the referral is accepted and based on the assessed needs of the patient. RPCS completes a checklist assessment between week 6 – 8 to ensure that the CHC team can complete the decision support tool (DST) assessment for any patient requiring fast track provision.

The Integrated Respiratory Service will provide a multi-disciplinary hub, enabling assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with respiratory conditions in SWH. The service will provide access to multi-disciplinary team assessment, diagnostics, and treatment, improving the quality of care for patients. It focuses on clearly defined clinical pathways, GP support, advice and guidance and education. This service facilitates a truly integrated model of care enabling a resilient healthcare system for the future. To confirm as per the PSR direct award process C, the existing providers are satisfying the existing contracts, delivering a good service, meeting all KPIs, with no quality concerns and good outcomes and has very good feedback from GPs and patients and are likely to satisfy the new contracts. The objectives of the commissioned service is to deliver a Tier 3 Weight Management Serivce to enable and support patients to safely lose weight and maintain weight loss in the long-term and Reduce the requirement for tertiary care services, including bariatric surgery by deferring or avoiding the need for bariatric surgery. A multi-disciplinary team support patients through this 12 month programme. <br/><br/>Tier 3 Weight Management services provide the link between Tier 1 and 2 population wide services and lifestyle interventions and Tier 4 Specialist Bariatric Surgical Services.<br/><br/>Increased weight and obesity presents a major challenge to the current and future health of the local population. Higher body mass index (BMI) is associated with an increased risk of morbidity and mortality from a range of conditions including hypertension, heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and several cancers.
