Within Hertfordshire and West Essex currently, the diagnosis of asthma is made mostly in primary care with GP surgeries utilising peak flow diaries and spirometry in most cases. These tools are now deemed to be insufficient and inaccurate, and they do not include the newest, more specific methods of arriving at diagnosis such as FeNO measurements. The data within Hertfordshire and West Essex confirms that there is a significant gap between our expected and estimated asthma prevalence with more than 30% of the population being underdiagnosed. As such, the ICB would like to procure FeNO machines for use across the ICB Primary Care Networks. As well as the provision of machines, the ICB are procuring all related consumables. The successful Bidder will also be required to provide an online reporting tool / dashboard for the device which is available for clinicians in addition to the provision of training for both clinical and non-clinical staff. No maximum or minimum financial envelope has been defined for this requirement. However, bidders are expected to price competitively.

The community iMSK service aims to improve, support, manage and coordinate MSK needs and conditions delivered across primary and community care, but with access to expertise in secondary care for advice, collaboration and onward referral when required.

NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB have opened the NHS HWE Domiciliary Care Any Qualified Provider (AQP) contract for applications through CarePulse: https://www.eprocurement.carepulse.co.uk. This procurement is run as a competitive process (with multi-provider award) under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). <br/> <br/>This contract covers the provision of domiciliary care for adults eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare and is applicable to local Providers with a CQC-registered service location within 3 miles of NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB. The contract will include both non-specialist and specialist domiciliary care services under defined Care Tiers. <br/> <br/>Applications are open from 17 November 2025 and will close at 5:0 pm on 5 January 2026. Services will commence from 1 April 2026. Timelines are indicative and may be subject to change. <br/> <br/>The Contract Term is 3 years from service commencement, and the Commissioner may opt to extend the Contract Term by up to 2 years, in accordance with Schedule 1C of the Contract Particulars.
