The Authority is seeking a management partner for two leisure centres, Market Harborough Leisure Centre and Lutterworth Leisure Centre, and to work with the Authority to facilitate sport and physical activity outside of the leisure centres. Market Harborough Leisure Centre includes a 6-lane 25m swimming pool, teaching pool, a 4-court sports hall, and 70 station fitness suite. Lutterworth Leisure Centre includes a 6-lane 25m swimming pool, 4-court sports hall and 72-station gym. The Authority has ambitious plans for investment into its facilities during the term of the new Contract and has agreed as part of the procurement £9.75 million investment fund, financed through prudential borrowing available for investment in both Harborough Leisure Centre and Lutterworth Leisure Centre. The contract commences in April 2024 and is for 15 years with the option to extend for two periods of up to five years. The procurement will be a two-stage tender process with negotiation.

Harborough District Council ("the Council" or "the Authority") is inviting tenders for a single Supplier to be contracted for all recyclables and waste collection services, street cleansing services, and grounds maintenance services, across Harborough District. The contract must start on 1st April 2027; it is therefore envisaged this contract shall be awarded and mobilisation will start in October 2026. The competitive flexible process is made up of four stages including: Stage One - PSQ Stage Two - Invitiation to Submit Initial Tender (ISIT) Stage Three - Post ISIT Dialogue and Negotiations Stage Four - Invitation to Submit Final Tender (ISFT) The deadline for submissions to Stage One - PSQ is 12 noon 31st October 2025.
