Harborough District Council will shortly be tendering for a single supplier to run a service consisting of the recyclable and waste collection services, as well as street cleansing and grounds maintenance services. The intention is to contract a single supplier, however, it will be permissible under the contract, to subcontract elements of the contract to subcontractors, managed by the single main contractor, in line with all Council requirements. It is envisaged that the only element of the service that will be eligible for subcontracting is Grounds maintenance.
