Key points to note about the service and our requirements:
The Psychological Wellbeing Service will complement the wider offer for early intervention, to facilitate choice and increase capacity. The service will be provided to children and young people aged from 10-18 years old and for parenting interventions from 5 years upwards.
By expanding the existing early intervention offer and integrating this sub-contracting arrangement into the wider early intervention system in Hull and East Riding, we aim to stem the flow of referrals into core CAMHS. This will reduce the existing waiting list, alongside ensuring C&YP and their families receive timely support and intervention around their needs as they arise, reducing long waits and potential exacerbation of needs. New referrals deemed appropriate for low intensity interventions will be seen by the service. It is our intention that this will facilitate a quicker response for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs and free up capaci

Inspire is a 13-bedded mental health inpatient unit for young people from Hull, East Riding and North and North-East Lincolnshire. The facility is split over split over 2 units and there are nine general admission beds (Orion Unit) and four PICU beds (Nova Unit), with additional support accommodation consisting of Lounges, assisted bathrooms, nurse office and ancillary spaces. Nova is a PICU facility which is currently occupied as required. The majority of work required is within the Nova Unit and consists of refurbishment of existing bedrooms (ensuites to remain as existing) to create admission lounge areas, changing an existing Sluice to a WC, refurbishing an existing Lounge, converting a cleaners / WC to a sensory room and an existing office to an NG feeding room. The proposed works also include refurbishing an existing bedroom and converting an existing adjacent bedroom space into a lounge area, access from the refurbished bedroom (ensuites to remain as existing). This will also include a new secluded garden with security weld mesh fencing, safety flooring and level access from the new bedroom lounge space. The refurbishment in the occupied Orion Unit consists of modifying an existing games room to reduce the existing room space and provide a new staff office.
