The service will facilitate the safe transfer of care for service users who are medically fit for discharge from acute mental health inpatient units. It will be available for 5 people at any point in time. The focus will be to support access to suitable accommodation and assistance to maintain a tenancy. The service will be provided for a maximum period of 28 days for service users meeting the eligibility criteria; any exception to the length of stay will be by mutual agreement between the provider and commissioner. The following will be provided: Accommodation will be available for service users who have either no accommodation identified or are waiting to access a tenancy. Assistance with daily living activities and support with short term needs. Staff will support service users in obtaining longer term accommodation and promote independent living. 1-1 support with a dedicated specialist mental health worker to identify and achieve move on plans; part time hours worked flexibly across 7 days to meet client need. 1-1 and group activities with support workers focussing on independent living skills available on site between 10am- 2pm and 6pm -10pm 7 days a week. Out of hours crisis support from the mental health response team (HTFT) 24/7 access to low level support. Property management assistant available to ensure repairs are dealt with swiftly and ensure effective void room turnover Housekeeper available to support with communal cleaning and stock replenishment. Expression of Interest (EOI) Barbering / Hairdressing Services - NHS Adult Secure Services Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced barber or hairdresser to provide a sessional barbering / hairdressing service within our male adult secure inpatient services. This EOI is being issued to understand market interest and identify potential providers. It is not a formal tender. Service Overview The service will provide basic barbering / hairdressing (e.g. haircuts and trims) to male adult inpatient service users within a secure NHS setting. Due to the nature of secure mental health services, patient attendance can vary, and sessions may be affected by clinical need. Proposed Service Model • Provision of a once monthly session • Session length to be agreed (e.g. half day) • Sessional payment at a fixed rate, paid regardless of patient attendance (not paid per haircut) • Location: NHS adult secure inpatient setting (The Humber Centre, Willerby Hill business park). Provider Requirements (Indicative) Providers would be expected to: • Have relevant experience providing barbering or hairdressing services • Be willing to work within a secure healthcare environment (The Humber Centre, Willerby Hill business park) • Hold appropriate insurance cover • Be able to meet NHS pre engagement checks, including DBS and site induction (support will be provided through this process) Contractual Arrangements • Invoicing and payment through standard NHS processes • Contract length and session details to be agreed following engagement How to Respond Interested providers are invited to submit a short expression of interest (by email to hnf-tr.contracting@nhs.net) confirming: • Business name and contact details • Brief description of experience • Confirmation of interest in providing a once monthly session in a secure setting at the above mentioned location • Any initial questions or constraints Responses should be no more than 1 page. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) - Physiotherapy Services Early engagement We are seeking expressions of interest from organisations/individuals interested in providing a Physiotherapy for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) service across Hull and East Yorkshire. CFS is a complex, chronic medical condition in which people often experience a fluctuation in symptoms. In summary, the requirement is to provide specialist assessment and treatment to meet the needs of people with CFS, whilst ensuring treatment interventions meet the standards required for HCPC Proficiency. The service will be delivered during the period of 09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday and from the provider's premises. The premises must be accessible to patients within the catchment area and be fully compliant with business building regulations for health and safety. The model assumes a specialist clientele in which trust and a person-centred approach is required. Recognising that clients may need to be seen on more than a few occasions to gain trust, previous experience delivering chronic fatigue physiotherapy is essential. Referrals for the service currently average around 16 pcm. The service is to commence during August 2024. This is a notice to invite the market to make expressions of interest to provide a mental health crisis text service for the population of Humber & North Yorkshire ICB. We are seeking expressions of interest from organisations that can provide assessment and diagnosis for adults awaiting a dementia diagnosis. We are looking to commission around 250 assessments although this figure could fluctuate.
