Guildford Borough Council is seeking to appoint an experienced supplier who has a proven track record of delivering Rough Sleeper Outreach and Homelessness prevention activities in partnership with a Local Housing Authority to provide Homeless Outreach and Support Services in accordance with the specification document. The provision of a base centrally located in Guildford town centre (within 1 km of the Council’s Millmead Offices) is essential to the successful delivery of this personal, local and out of hours service and bidders are required to provide such a base.Suppliers must demonstrate compliance within a Trauma Informed (TI) and Strengths Based (SB) framework and be working to the principle of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE).
External funding has been approved for up to £145,000 for the installation of pool covers which will result in significant financial savings through saving mainly on utility costs but also chemical and water consumption. These savings will enable the pool to be operated all year round which therefore increases the leisure provision for residents.
The installation of these covers will also contribute to the Council's environmental initiatives. A significant amount of investigatory work has also been undertaken in respect of benchmarking the chosen pool cover type, including how it will used and operated in practical terms over the coming years.

Weyside Urban Village is an exciting regeneration project that will bring new homes, industrial uses, and community facilities to Guildford. Guildford Borough Council, as part of its ongoing digital and system transformation, is seeking to appoint an experienced qualified supplier to support, rationalise and reengineer its current Salesforce provision.
GBC required a suitable qualified and experienced supplier (with Local Authority service delivery experience and a member of the Master Locksmiths Association to lock and unlock various sites across Guildford.The supplier may also be awarded similar services for additional sites as and when required by the Council. The value for these services is unknown at present.

GBC is seeking to appoint a single suitable NICEIC/ECA or similar and equally qualified electrical contractor for the upgrade, maintenance and future repair of its car park lighting systems. As part of this upgrade GBC are seeking more environmentally friendly solutions, that:• Only involve replacing the gear tray of the lighting system (not the entire unit) and;• Have a dimming function, that allows GBC to dim lights at time of no occupancy in car park areas remotely, which can be changed by a user at GBC.The lighting upgrade will be for both standard and emergency lighting. In addition, we are seeking the same contract to undertake monthly inspections, annual battery drains and ad-hoc light replacements due to misuse/abuse.
