Fire Remediation Works to Pharmacy Robot Conveyor System Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (referred to as GWH), installed a conveyor dispensing system within their Pharmacy department in 2022. The system now requires review and updating to ensure the integrity of the fire rating will be maintained when passing through a fire rated structure. Anticipated scope of the Remediation Works required: · Undertake an onsite inspection to enable the supplier to familiarise themselves with the site, building and installations. · Undertake a review of all existing information relating to the conveyor system and the existing fire strategy. · Attend workshops and meetings as required to support, progress and develop a technical design (drawings, specifications). This will also include engagement with the manufacturer of the conveyor system. The anticipated number of meetings required to be proposed and agreed. · Act as Principal Designer under the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) on behalf of GWH and submit and manage the application through the various gateways until successful conclusion. The Project Team has approached a number of potential suppliers, however only one organisation has been identified as having the relevant technical expertise, resource and capacity to deliver the project within the required timescales. GWH observed an 8-day standstill following the publishing of a UK05: Transparency Notice (Reference UK-4539) before entering into a contract with Kendall Kingscott Limited. Therefore, after full consideration of the technical and resource restrictions and submission of the relevant Notice, GWH awarded this contract to Kendall Kingscott Limited.

This contract covers the provision of specialist medical physics services to support the Wiltshire service which includes expert advice, testing, and quality assurance for wide range of modalities: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, plain film (outpatients, GP, ED), mobile X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Cardiac catheter labs, Gamma Camera, DEXA, the Breast Centre, and plain film units at two community sites. The medical physics service will be available to provide advice on: • Implications for optimisation (radiation dose and image quality) of any planned or unplanned changes in practice. • Practice and results of routine user QC of equipment performance. • Breakdowns and emerging concerns about the performance of the equipment. • Compliance with radiation regulations as part of an annual audit and on an on-going basis as necessary. Test instruments service conditions includes the following; • The medical physics service must have sufficient test instruments available to carry out the tests covered by this agreement. • It must have sufficient sets of test instruments to enable emergency investigation of a suspected fault or incident. • Calibration of test instruments must meet the national guidance and standards. • Coordination, liaison and representation service conditions include: • The medical physics service will participate in any surveys and evaluations requested by Public Health England (PHE) or screening quality assurance service.

Contract for the provision of Histopathology Reporting

Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (GWH), working with a developer partner, Prime Plc, (Prime) is seeking to appoint a not-for- profit operator of staff and student accommodation on its site, based in Swindon. GWH, Prime and potential investors wish to enter into an initial non-contractual relationship with a Preferred Bidder, to participate in further discussions to establish a commercial delivery model. Should discussions be successful, and the Preferred Supplier demonstrate appropriate financial capacity, a contract will be awarded to the Preferred Bidder. GWH advertised this opportunity under Notice UK4 - 3680 as a three stage competitive flexible procedure. GWH received one response to Stage 1 PSQ. The respondent successfully passed all PASS/FAIL questions and demonstrated appropriate experience and technical ability. GWH will enter into further discussions with Hyve by Prime regarding a suitable financial model. The value indicated in this notice represents potential turnover only. The estimated value and corresponding VAT value are estimated only. The value is representative of the potential between the Operator and the Private Tenants (Trust Staff). It is not a contract value awarded by the Trust. The operating start date is an estimate only and is subject to amendment. Supply and daily delivery of Pre-Prepared Radiopharmaceutical Kits used in Nuclear Medicine Diagnostics. The service is critical to the delivery of time-sensitive diagnostic procedures, particularly those related to cancer pathways. Due to the nature of the product - radioactive isotopes with rapid decay - the supply is geographically restricted and must adhere to extremely tight production and delivery timelines. Kits must be delivered to the Trust by 7:0 am each day, with no shelf life available, requiring a fresh supply every 24 hours to maintain operational continuity.

This is direct award to Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (referred to as OUH), for the provision of pathology diagnostic testing under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) "Most Suitable Provider". This is an inter-NHS contract award.<br/><br/>As shown in the disclosed criteria, the main weighted criteria, Integration, collaboration and service is<br/>weighted at 50% as the key objective to centralise testing within the S4 pathology network, connected via LIMs. The other elements of quality-led criteria total a further 40% of the weighting.
