This procurement exercise seeks to appoint a Client-Side Advisor to provide expert advice and guidance to assist the councils to procure and implement a replacement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.
The services to be delivered include but are not limited to
Input and guidance to define and shape the replacement ERP solution toolset
The provision of expert advice to the project team;
The provision of resource to undertake functions for which the council requires additional resource
Support to define requirements for the procurement and selection of (i) an ERP Vendor & Solution and (ii) a solution System Implementor to complete ERP toolset delivery.
The Council is seeking an Insurance Broker to commercially procure, place and negotiate terms of cover, premiums and related matters within the insurance market on the Council's behalf. The Broker will also be responsible for liaising with insurers, claims handlers and loss adjusters, developing current systems to produce certificates of insurance, premium invoices, providing advice, guidance and support to the Council and their Arms Length Organisations (ALEO’s) and all other associated activities.
The estimated contract value includes the broker fee and total policy value. The broker fee is estimated at 700k for the duration of the contract including extensions. The total policy value is estimated to be between 48m and 56m for the duration of the contract including extensions. The range reflects variations in policy requirements and coverage that may occur.
The procurement will be undertaken via the Public Contracts Scotland - Tender portal (PCS-T).
Bidders must self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the SPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit Means of Proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in Section III in this Contract Notice when completing the SPD in PCS-T.

Consultancy Support for SCOTS Roads Asset Management Project - Phase 4
Glasgow City Council on behalf of the Society of Chief Officers of Transportation in Scotland (SCOTS) and all 32 Scottish Local Authorities is seeking a provider to deliver Consultancy Support for the SCOTS Roads Asset Management Project (RAMP) - Phase 4. This project is recognised as being of significant national importance in driving improvement in asset management practice and promoting effective maintenance of the Scottish local road network. SCOTS have developed, in collaboration with its community, a pragmatic recommended practice framework which meets the requirements, needs and priorities of its members.
Through collaboration with SCOTS and key stakeholders, the required services include but are not limited to: design and delivery of practitioner-level asset management training mainly via webinar and instructional video; further development of pragmatic guidance and tools - expanding the RAMP framework to meet evolving roads infrastructure maintenance challenges and needs; auditing of RAM Practices.
