Gateshead Council is implementing a Contract with a qualified and experienced external contractor to deliver VCSE infrastructure support services. The provider will deliver a range of sector support including provision of information, advice and guidance, training, networking opportunities and facilitation, sector representation, and maintenance and promotion of the Our Gateshead website.

Removal of 2 heating boilers at Washingwell primary and replacement with modern equivalent. The boilers are at the very end of lifespan and catastrophic failure would leave the school without heat and hot water.

Provision of Safe Supported Accommodation For Those Experiencing Domestic Abuse The purpose of the service is to provide an accommodation-based housing related support service delivered to meet the needs of those experiencing domestic abuse. The Service Provider will work with victim-survivors to reduce the risk of homelessness, address and support other aspects of their lives whilst maintaining positive relationships through a trauma informed approach. The tailored support will be flexible, determined by the victim-survivor's needs and service user led.

We are seeking to procure a fully managed secure Cloud-based electronic care monitoring solution which will include a fully integrated core solution and a care worker mobile application (mobile app) that will • Optimise the deployment of contracted workers • Reduce the time spent by Service Support Workers on visit allocation by at least 55% • The solution should eliminate duplication of tasks and processes by offering an all-in-one solution that integrates care planning and recording, medication management, and care visit scheduling. • It must streamline workflows by reducing the need for manual duplication, especially where current solutions lack full integration and fail to automatically transfer essential information. • When data is input into the solution it must be pulled through to auto populate linked records/areas within the solution to stop the re-entering of the same data and streamline the process. • Maximises workforce capacity • Will provide robust reporting capabilities on service user progress, team performance, and individual worker outcomes • Have the provision to keep all digital records stored within it securely. • Will support the Council with quality assurance, provide evidence and reporting measures to identify outcomes and progress, enabling prompt action for any issues identified.

Gateshead Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and knowledgeable economic development consultant, experienced in 'systems thinking', that has undertaken one or more similar reviews in the last four years, to: • Map existing employment support provision in Gateshead to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current eco-system that helps residents achieve their employment goals • Draft a proposal to establish a Gateshead employment partnership that will bring key stakeholders together to support ongoing collaboration, knowledge sharing and system alignment.
