Creation of a National Framework for the Maintenance of Firearms Ranges, the scope of which will include: • de-leading, sanitation and deep cleaning; • annual deep cleans; • repair or replacement of materials; • miscellaneous works including but not limited to upgrades, refurbishments and/or improvements to ranges; and • the supply of and delivery of consumables for the Firearms Ranges.

The Authority is seeking to procure a partner to work in collaboration with GMP to design the GMP Leadership Programme in order to implement the College of Policing’s (COP) National Centre for Police Leadership (NCPL) framework into the force.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is tendering to appoint operators to deliver light and heavy vehicle recovery services within the Greater Manchester area. The contract period will be 2 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years on a 1 + 1 + 1 option. To be considered for award of a contract Recovery Operators must have in place the relevant operator licences, accreditations and Health and Safety policies. The contract will also be broken down into various Lots to cover a variety of geographical areas in Greater Manchester. Where there are multiple operators awarded to any of the lots, jobs will be allocated evenly on a pro-rota basis starting with the highest scoring bidders.

Greater Manchester Police has a requirement for the supply and delivery of packed lunches for operational personnel for special events and operations. Packed lunches will be required for a variety of pre-planned events and emergency situations, delivered to any location within the Greater Manchester area. Officers can work either a 6 hour or 12 hour operation, and a different size packed lunch is required for each operation length. Our estimated annual usage based on the previous 12 months is 20,000 6 hour packed lunches and 3,500 12 hour packed lunches. Due to the operational nature of this requirement, no volumes or values are guaranteed.

The provision of a Contractor to provide a proactive and reactive Lift Maintenance Service throughout GMP's estate. The maintenance services shall be fully comprehensive, and only specific exclusions shall apply as stated within the tender document. The Contractor shall allow for supplying all management and supervision, labour, materials, tools, plant, access equipment, landing barriers (to be kept on site), testing equipment (including specialist tools & equipment), notices and first aid arrangements necessary for the complete execution of the work and provide a planned preventative maintenance regime with repairs and/or renewals as required in order to maintain the optimum performance and availability of the equipment.
